Like the previous review, we too booked online (on 28th June) and arrived yesterday to find the new owners up to their ears in decorating. They were most apologetic, but Quandoo are still taking bookings. BEWARE!

We arrived to find restaurant had closed, beware! We booked on line and wasn't obvious from the website but the restaurant had closed ! Annoying as it was a special family meal.

We found this when searching for a meal pre-Sadler's Wells and we were not disappointed. The staff were excellent with a particularly attentive and friendly barman (actually probably more important than that but it was early in the evening!). An interesting choice of food, we...More

Stopped in for a quick drink and cheese board. Were disappointed by the selection of wines by the glass. Cheeseboard was okay.

We ate here before a visit to Sadler's Wells, arriving just after our 6pm reservation time. Within an hour we'd enjoyed three excellent courses for the bargain price of £20 from the set menu. My friends both said their lamb was delicious - I had...More

Our 2nd visit in November was as good as the first. Welcoming, very French, food extremely good, staff charming and helpful ( usual boring IBS stuff- a bit stunned at no onions or garlic ( fair enough in a French restaurant) but coped really well)...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Bringing the fun side of French cuisine to trendy Islington, Miz en Bouche is a relaxed, contemporary hideaway on St John Street. With an informal, laidback vibe at its core, traditional sharing fondues are a Miz en Bouche speciality, while the modern bar serves a mix of classic cocktails, rich coffees and fine wines. A modern, edgy space within one of the area's magnificent townhouses, the Miz en Bouche dining room is streaked with lime green banquettes, and nostalgic Notre Dame wall murals.
