Just on the corner of villiers street in the hustle and bustle is this mexican restaurant. good menu, fast efficient stuff but I found the meal portions small. Had chicken pibil, advocate salad plus dessert and mojito costing £28.80. still felt hungry afterwards!! the portions were smaller the most restaurants

I have to call this a Mexican Fusion joint as I seen not one Mexican cooking the food! Don't let that deter you, they know how to cook! The Tapas selections are fine and my sister had an excellent Burrito. Our server, Elena Diaz, was spot on. We would come back in a second.

We went in a large group a few weeks ago. Food was below average. I ordered a vegetarian taco dish which was overly spicy but this was not indicated on the menu. I wouldn't go again.

There are few places in London or the UK where you can experience authentic Mexican, or Tex Mex food. Lupita is exceptional, both in terms of offering dishes specific to Mexico City and the Valley of Mexico, and based on offering absolutely fabulous quality of dishes, drinks and service -- all in one of the best locations in central London!

Really poor service throughout dinner. My meal was very disappointing and only ate a mouthful as the flavours were not great. My date finished his food before anyone bothered to check we were happy which meant I didn't have a chance to change my food and I didn't want my date to have to wait whilst they made me something.... My husband and I visited on our last day in London. They didn't open until noon so we only had about 15 min to wait. We were glad that we stuck around. We opted for the lunch special. We had the steak street tacos with rice and it was very good. I've seen some reviews that didn't have a good... More

Not the best food experience. We ordered tacos and mexican salad, the salad tasted very unfresh, the tacos were small and "dry" (without taste). The service was quite polite but not really nice. Also the boss shouting in middle of the restaurant seemed weird to me. For me, definitely not worth the price.

First I must say - THE GUACAMOLE IS A MUST, THE MORE EXPENSE OF THE 2 OPTIONS. I have eaten here many times but this was the 1st with the family and it was the best meal there so far. The food is amazing, the staff are very friendly and didn't mind having a sword fight with my 4 year... More

London's most authentic Mexican taquería. The same tastes, ingredients, flavors and smells found in Mexico City. As one of the most popular restaurants providing authentic Mexico City cuisine in London, the chefs at Lupita pride themselves on the authenticity of their dishes. Choosing to use only fresh, flavoursome ingredients to create exciting and tastebud tingling dishes, the menus at Lupita are a true reflection of the incredible flavours, colours and smells found throughout Mexico. In September 2012, Zagat, the worldwide ratings and reviews website for restaurants, released their London 2012 survey results announcing that Lupita had made the top five Mexican restaurants in the city.Enjoy a wide range of dishes from tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and enchiladas to salads, soups and totopos (traditional homemade tortilla chips) before washing it all down with one of Lupita’s much loved margaritas (made with 100% agave tequila). The team at Lupita are also proud to offer diners the opportunity to taste some of Mexico’s hard-to-find beers including Pacifico, Modelo Especial and Negra Modelo as well as a variety of Mexican, South American and Spanish wines.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
