We ordered 2 vegetarian thali plus a separate kids thali assuming kids food would be less spicy but only to my disappointment same spicy veggie was served in kids thali as adults thali . kid could not eat spicy veggie and had to manage rice and curd. Also when adult thali is served with roti/paratha, why couldn't they serve roti... More

First time I landed up in this branch and the first masala Zone at that time was around 10 years back,. Time really does fly!!!! Shopping in Oxford street and walking up towards Piccadilly circus took one of the inside lanes and landed up outside masala zone. Wow it was amazing. The decor and having a nice looking Indian in... We went as had heard the food is good, which it was. But it is not exceptional. The kids thali was sufficiently portioned, but presentation in a cheap looking plastic plate let it down. Chicken biryani for mains was sufficient for one, as was the grand meat thali. The starters however weren't worth the price. £6 for 4 pieces of... More

We visited last week with some friends who had had 4 years living in Mumbai - always a tough crowd to please at an Indian Restaurant.... We all came away impressed with the quality of the dishes and the depth of flavours that we had experienced. It was a completely random choice of restaurnant but we will certainly go back... More

The service in this restaurant was second to none. The staff were extremely courteous, polite and accommodating. I ordered the thali with paneer and my companion ordered the mixed grill. Whilst the taste of the food was great the size of the portion did not reflect the price paid. The mix grill was £18 however the post toon was minuscule.... More

We visited Masala Zone Soho after the refurbishment, expecting the value for money experience for which it was known when it first opened. However whilst the food quality was fine, we found the portions were tiny. My friend and I ordered two main courses as we were peckish, rather than really hungry; a mixed meat platter and a chicken biryani... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
