We decided to have dinner at Masala Zone Soho on a Friday night. We've been frequent visitors to their Angel branch, but have never dined at the Soho branch before. We were showed to our seats straight away, even though we didn't have a reservation and the place looked fairly busy. And that's one of the first things I loved... More

Spent over 60 pounds with a friend. Ordered two curries which cost around 12 quid a pop. Ordered chicken and lamb curries which had no meat in them. Starter were tiny and small. Overpriced place for small portions do not recommend

Where the other Masala Zone restaurants I visited have this unique beautiful decors, I was a bit disapointed with the interior of this Masala Zone. But the food is still great, the staff nice, great non alcoholic cocktails. Thought the butter chicken was more tasty then the lamb. The vegetarian starters where all great. Good spot for dinner.

Would say this was average for London having eaten Indian Vegetarian Food in London for over 40 years. No complaints but no high praise either just OK.

The food is abundant and the yoghurt-based drinks delicious. For those however who, like myself, prefer to have a bit of variety or more choice, I would recommend you try Dishoom for instance. The waiters/waitresses were friendly and attentive but perhaps a bit too much. They seemed to come and ask how everything was every five minutes... Definitely the better... More

We ordered some food for take out here. While we waited at the bar the bartenders entertained us with friendly banter and an impressive display of bartending skills. Ask for a Whiskey Sour!

Everything was good except the fact that they forgot about our order and we waited one hour to get our meal. The cocktails are incredible, I suggest to really try a few of them. It was a best cheese nan ever. You have to know that it is veeeery spicy even if it is mentioned "a bit". Or you have... More

Went with a friend about a week ago, who is veggie. As a vegan myself I find it tricky sometimes to order or ask for help from the servers so I usually opt for the easiest simplest dishes that need no change or mean no hassle. Been here a few times and never left disappointed. This time though waitress who... More

Had lunch with family at Masala Zone today. The ambience is nice with welcoming staff. The menu is limited but quality of food was outstanding and authentic. By far the best Indian food we have had in London

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
