We were excited to try the new Rosa's that opened in Islington, so we tool friends along to try it. The food was average at best and it very over priced. A very dissapointing experience as we'd expected better. We wn't be back or recommending it. Will be sticking to our usual Thai restaurant round the corner (Isarn - in... More

I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. We got the chicken wings and squid to start - both were great. Very well seasoned and reasonably priced. Then for main I had the Chicken Penang curry which was delicious. Truly one of the better Thai restaurants I have been to in London.

We wanted somewhere easy to eat and good food and we had all heard great things about this place. We had a booth and great welcome, the service was a bit slow and food was slow in coming, but when it came, it was good food and good prices. Recommend for easy night out and not if you are in... We went for dinner and it took an age to get drinks. Starters also took ages. Main courses came quickly though and were good. Tasty. Not enough staff for volume of business. Mixed feelings but was popular.

We popped in on Friday afternoon and managed to reserve a table for two for later in the evening. The fact that Rosa's is located in Soho is convenient as we walked around for a couple of hours to keep ourselves busy until it was time for our reservation. When we arrived, we were sat immediately, however we thought the... More

We had a very nice meal at Rosa's on Saturday, I had Crispy Prawns, Red Thai Prawn Curry & Jasmine Rice, my daughter had Crispy Spring Rolls, Butternut Squash Red Thai Curry & Jasmine Rice. It was served very quickly and was piping hot. Unfortunately, we could only have the table for approximately 1hr, which meant our meal was a... More

This is authentic Thai food at its best. They hold back on the heat a little for English palette which is probably sensible, but they retain all the strong Thai flavours. If you like Thai food, come here. If you don't, don't.

Rosa's was suggested in a review about 20 best places to eat in Soho. We also really like Thai, which was another reason we went. My mum and I had a red thai curry and grilled pork to share, with sticky rice and iced tea on the side. The curry was gorgeous and very morish. The grilled pork was nice... More

Was disappointed with Rosa's. They are trying to get to many people through the door. Before you even sit down their telling you want time you have to leave. Service slow and you have to keep trying to get somebodies attention. Food was tasteless. If they want to serve so many customers they need more staff. Not an enjoyable meal... More

My friend introduced me to this restaurant. When we sat down we were told we could have the table for a max 1.5 hrs but that was fine. Service was quick and although a good place to catch up 1.5 hrs was long enough. The food was really tasty. Best calamari I've had (not rubbery at all) and pad Thai... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
