On our recent 8 day visit to London, we ate at Star Tavern 4 times. The food was quality pub food. We were made to feel welcomed, even when there were large groups of folks enjoying the beer scene. A nice neighborhood type establishment.

Good place to take your friends for a quick drink or upstairs dining . Here up The Great Train robbery was planned . This library in cosy with a nice fire place. The food , good value for your money .
