Been going there for years, but two entrances (Kingly Court off Carnaby Street) and Kingly Street are useful. I have dined there for business and pleasure with the waiting teams always friendly, knowledgeable about the dishes and produce. The wines available are very much to my pallet and not that expensive by London restaurant standards! Always ask about the specials,... More

I am very disappointed about my dinner last night (Sunday, July 24, 2016). I knew the restaurant several times weeknight. Last night I wanted to know a friend this one, so I booked a table on "OpenTable" for 9.30pm. Before even be installed the waitress (not happy we arrived) announces us that we have to order quickly because the kitchen... More

The Wright Brothers chain of restaurants serves the best, freshest shellfish in London. Excellent selection of oysters, from Ireland and elsewhere, as well as shrimp from France, langoustine and lobster from Scotland and whole crab from Sussex. The Sussex crab was a highlight--served cold or hot with pepper sauce. Waldorf salad was also great. Wide variety of seating at this... More

In our usual search for oysters my father and I had lunch here. The service was absolutely exemplary and the food delicious. Since my 90 year old father prefers salty rather than creamy oysters our waiter/chef kindly changed the selection especially for him and also treated my father to x2 rare ones. This was a very solicitous act and hugely... More

Went with a few girl friends on a Tuesday night - booked in advance so had a nice table. We ordered the dulex seafood platter - which are plenty for 3 of us - including prawns, shrimps, whelks, clams, mussels, and a whole crab! Waitress is very friendly and recommend a nice bottle of white which we truly enjoyed! Can't... More

A relaxed yet upscale dining experience in the Mayfair district. Excellent and attentive service though it was busy and when a short delay to the end of the meal occured due to a dessert item being forgotten there was an immediate compensation without question or appeal. Would strongly recommend the restauraunt if you like seafood. Take advantage of ordering the... More

A busy restaurant but amazingly helpful and friendly staff who were attentive without being pushy. A relaxed meal without undue delays or feeling hurried. A reflection on the supervisors. The oysters were super fresh and the waiter knowledgeable about the options. Dared try the skate which in London can be iffy but again really fresh. For a meal in central... More

On a hot sunny afternoon Wright bros 3-6pm happy hour offering £1oysters hits the spot. We sat outside and had two delicious non alcoholic spritzers (lavender and one peach) and enjoyed the sights of buzzing kingly court. One male waiter knew his stuff, the other female waiter didn't know her oysters from her elbow (me thinks perhaps new to the... More

Visited for joint mother/daughter birthday lunch - looked after brilliantly by lovely Richie who recommended a great cocktail, knew all about oysters and sang happy birthday most beautifully to us - he was the perfect host ❤❤❤ The food was absolutely delicious - we highly recommend the oyster selection. The prosecco was excellent too! We felt special - thank you... More

Always wary of disappointment in fish restaurants in London especially in the hub of its tourism we ventured here based on good reviews and photos. It didn't disappoint. A fabulous greeting great staff and a truly fresh seafood extravaganza. Oysters in every firm and a huge Sussex crab to fight with pip included made a fantastic meal out at what... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
