Very good place to eat fish in Soho, well known for oysters. We tried different plates, all well prepared and served. The crab was amazing. A mention for the waiters and the bartenders, Jonathan Alessia and Mirko (we found a good negroni sbagliato!!).

We have heard good feedback about the Wright Brothers Soho on Kingley Street so we decided to try it. We went there for dinner for four of us on a Saturday evening after making a booking. The place is in a popular location in Soho, amongst other restaurants or eateries, coffee shops and English pubs. The place was buzzling and... More

I had long wanted to try this establishment, it has earned it's reputation as one of the better fish restaurants in London and we were keen to give it a go - also to compare it to our favourites J Sheekey and Randall & Aubin nearby. My wife and I both started with tempura king prawns with a chilli aioli,... More

My second visit to this Fish and Oyster bar with attentive staff and fresh choice of Oysters. My favourites are the fresh expensive ones typical of me says hubby and we also tried the deep fried with bonito flakes which hubby preferred and King prawn tempura with chilli aioli and skinny fries, heavenly. Well worth a visit and one on... More

This was one of my finest dining experience in a fish restaurant. The service was fantastic, so friendly, helpful and attentive. For starters we had some whelks and razor clams which came in crushed ice and they were very tasty. For main I chose grilled Madagascar tiger prawn with garlic aioli, chips and salad. It was a huge, juicy, extraordinarily... More

31 July Wrights brothers Soho oyster bar Kingly Court We heard about the happy hour oyster so we went to find out. The service was prompt and courteous. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The happy hour oyster promotion is not on the menu so you have to ask for this. Oyster offers are £1 each so we immediately ordered loads.... More

My daughters bought me the masterclass as a father's day gift. Simon and Pierre were excellent, their knowledge and enthusiasm for oysters very apparent. It was ninety minutes of oyster heaven (and good wine). Then upstairs to the restaurant, we invented a platter from the small dishes as we'd sated our oyster desires (17 is just about enough for me),... More

Been going there for years, but two entrances (Kingly Court off Carnaby Street) and Kingly Street are useful. I have dined there for business and pleasure with the waiting teams always friendly, knowledgeable about the dishes and produce. The wines available are very much to my pallet and not that expensive by London restaurant standards! Always ask about the specials,... More

I am very disappointed about my dinner last night (Sunday, July 24, 2016). I knew the restaurant several times weeknight. Last night I wanted to know a friend this one, so I booked a table on "OpenTable" for 9.30pm. Before even be installed the waitress (not happy we arrived) announces us that we have to order quickly because the kitchen... More

The Wright Brothers chain of restaurants serves the best, freshest shellfish in London. Excellent selection of oysters, from Ireland and elsewhere, as well as shrimp from France, langoustine and lobster from Scotland and whole crab from Sussex. The Sussex crab was a highlight--served cold or hot with pepper sauce. Waldorf salad was also great. Wide variety of seating at this... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
