We popped in for a drink & decided to try oysters. It was happy hour so rather than £9.50 for three oysters they were only £1 each. It was very busy but service was quick. There was not a lot of choice but it is an oyster bar so if you're not into seafood don't go here. Nice atmosphere too.

I've eaten here many times over the past few years and have say this visit was a very disappointing. While the service was good and oysters are always excellent - particularly the variety - the mains were pretty poor. Mussels were full of grit and far too salty (I truly hope none was added during preparation). The Skate wasn't just... More

First of all, the service was almost perfect. Our waitress Alexandra was very attentive, conversive and made sure our group of 5 was well catered for and each dish we ordered could be shared. Since we regularly dine out as a group, this is particularly important as most places won't tell you a dish only comes with 3 pcs when... More

The food was faultless and delicious. Service was friendly if a bit chaotic at times. The issue was our husband's ordered small plates as starters and my friend and I ordered mains only, but their small plates and our mains and sides all arrived together. Felt a bit rushed.

Nice ambiance and fresh oysters, however the service was of a badly managed place oppose to a "not so cheap" seafood restaurant. Forgetful waiters. Bread and butter arrived after most of the food was finished. It took way too long to bring even Cold dishes (oysters) out, given that the restaurant was pretty empty. Same for a coffee and a... This is the third time I came to this restaurant, last time was 2013, last time I ordered seafood platter and this time I order oysters and pepper crab. Foods are always good and I have nothing to add except delicious. However, the services this time is really good compare to last two times. The waitress serve us is really... More

We stopped in here specifically for the Oyster Happy Hour. We arrived shortly after 3pm, at the start of the happy hour. The restaurant was a bit difficult for us out-of-towners to find at first, located next to an open courtyard in Kingly Court. The modern, clean, restaurant was not very busy at the time, so we had our choice... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
