I booked this restaurant purely from the reviews on Tripadvisor, as I was looking for a really nice Italian restaurant in London that wasn't going to break the bank. The restaurant is very small, but the service is amazing, the waiters are extremely friendly and personable, however if you don't like over friendly waiters who make jokes with you, this... More

When we descended on this restaurant - all 40 of us, I thought there would be total chaos- a need to move tables around to accommodate, and subsequently the ensuing panic of waiters trying to herd cats and get all drink and food orders to the right people. But what I found was a surprisingly calm affair. We took over... More

I think they mean well but catastrophic result for what was supposed to be a simple dinner. Of 4 dishes we ordered, we couldn't manage to eat three. Service was poor and borderline rude. waiting time and quality unacceptable for what was then presented on our table. Won't go back.

I've been eating here for years, on and off. Not having been in London for a while I thought I'd go back to what's familar and to what I like. It's great to know that some things in life don't change - pear salad is still exquisite, roast ham Umbrian style is still the best and lamb cutlets are as... More

A lovely evening started with prosecco and the tuna carpaccio. Just excellent, fresh and tasty food. The menu meant we were spoilt for choice, but went with the recommendation of calves liver and it was truly excellent. Great Italian wines complemented the food well. Too full for dessert, but I'm sure that would have been fab too. Attentive but not... More

Balanced menu, friendly staff and good wine list. Only downside is that it's slightly cramped. Will go again.

This is a popular place with people in the know so it's worth booking for lunch as it's full of business people - from the Soho area though so there is a nice vibe. It definitely has the feel of a family-owned business. The service was good - and the spaghetti with prawns was a lovely dish. It's not cheap... More

We came across this nice restaurant in a side street off Oxford Street and were keen for some lunch. Having just returned from Italy we needed our hit of our favourite food. The restaurant we packed with a busy hum of clients who come here regularly and were on first name terms with the staff. Our main food was very... More

We popped in here before a concert at the Palladium and found it to be excellent. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and authentically Italian. I was glad that we were there early and were seated in the main restaurant as when I went to the bathroom I saw the downstairs which is nowhere near... More

Simple unaffected for London. Nice food but not fantastic. Very small and crapped seating. Service a bit brash. Fairly extensive menu. Nice enough if you want fairly simple Italian food.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
