Came for a family birthday brunch. Was great to have a room to ourselves and attentive and friendly waiters. Had a breakfast champagne which was lovely. And eggs florentine - the yolk on the eggs was INSANE, but other than that, the rest of it was the standard of what we do at home. Not mind blowing but nice enough... More

Now this is a place that I wouldn't ordinarily go to purely because I don't like paying for a name however this time was for a family birthday and we were there for the brunch. The location itself is lovely with a nice outside terrace and a spacious restaurant. My partner and I both had the full English breakfast from... More

Very limited menu - food was ok but nothing special. The staff were very unhelpful and despite the pretty venue being quiet we felt very rushed by the two waitresses. When arrived we dared to ask to sit nearer the front of the outside terrace but we were told the area was booked - no one sat there during our... More

We went there upon a recommendation with two couples. The interior is somewhat modern rustic. The food was very good, but certainly not extraordinary. We had a variety of dishes and everybody was happy. The service was friendly, efficient and nice, but not knowledgeable about the food itself. Every time we asked about an ingredient we got the answer "I'll... More

We reserved a table for Saturday evening and were surprised at how quiet it was. We ordered our food: the Fish Pie and the Courgette & Black Olive Tart and were then left for the most of the evening by our waiters. We ordered a drink twice and neither times did it turn up, when we did get our waiters... More

Good food, good choice of food, but let down by casual, 'take it or leave it' service. Pleasant surroundings in an historic London building where you would expect the waiting staff to be on top of their game. Not so! Ignored on arrival, matched by a casual and flippant attitude throughout. A personal issue is having to ask for tap... More

Look everything was alright; the rib eye, the scallops, dill cured salmon- but its like a million other places in London and not sure the £225 pricetag for three warrants that experience. But maybe I am tight and old fashioned? And the ice cream dessert was soooo boring.....but the waiter was ever so nice.

Six diners all enjoyed dinner, good service, not overpriced but quite a soulless place. The terrace outsider was buzzing (Friday night) but once in the restaurant there was little ambiance. The restaurant was pretty empty which didn't help but maybe some low music?????

Tom's Kitchen offers delicious food in a comfy setting within steps from the wonderful and not to be missed Courtauld collection. The food was beautifully made and presented, and all with lovely service. If we lived in London, we would be regulars here, don't miss it!

The place is nice, the staff is friendly especially with kids. They are accommodating to make sure kids eat something because the kid's menu is not really appropriate for the youngest. The food is nice but not worth the price.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
