Average meal, all 3 courses and the wine were okay just nothing special and certainly not worthy of the price, plenty of far better options around London. We had awful seats where we were practically sat underneath a stand where waiters/waitresses stood so it was as if they were stood over us the whole meal and then constantly brushing past... More

The kids were served chocolate deserts the size of a postage stamp - I thought nouvelle cuisine was long and happily dead. The disappointment of a 12 year old is hard to miss. My lamb chop was mostly fat. The crab had almost no crab on it. The service was sloppy, getting two orders wrong with substantial delays which seemed... More

Admittedly we did go on Valentine's Day and so the restaurant was very busy, but we were expecting better quality from Jamie Oliver. My crab starter was delicious but my main, the chicken, consisted of two very small over cooked chicken wings. I was recommended a dessert by the very helpful waiter and it didn't disappoint. It was the snickershere... More

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. All 3 courses were delicious. The main course of roast chicken was huge! Fab views of St Paul's cathedral. Impeccable service. And very accommodating to us having our baby there and being able to feed him after our meal. Highly recommended.

The View of the dome of St Paul's cathedral is breathtaking and the highlight of the evening was to eat and drink with family with this spectacular view in the background. Food: We ordered some appetisers to share. The Devils cornbread was just a dish of jalpeno spiced stodge; we ate it but spent the first few mouthfuls wondering what... More

Fantastic location with a great view. Amazing food and wines. This is a lovely location for the occasional business meeting over lunch. Friendly waiting staff and prompt service all added to a brilliant first timer experience.

A fabulous setting with amazing view of St Paul's. Bloody delicious Bloody Mary followed by one the most perfect Sunday roasts I've had in a restaurant.

Great food especially the ribs - I would definitely recommend them! Decor is also really on trend and gives a great vibe! Staff were a little off and could of been friendlier. Waitress also didn't know the answers to a couple of questions asked about the food and size of steaks available.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
