Great Steaks

Atmosphere and view were superb even though we arrived without reservation. Little disappointed by the long list of alterations and items unavailable that evening. 2 of us had fillet steaks and both of us thought they looked a little overdone however when sliced the middles were perfect.. This is the third time I have eaten here but this was poor by previous standards. Sharing the beef rib has been a good choice in the past. But this time despite my French colleague wanting rare or at the least medium rare the waitress told us they recommend medium with this cut. So being a gentleman he accepted the... More

Dined here for a Sunday brunch. I had the ribs three ways while my friends had the Sunday roast. The ribs were good, a little fatty though. The sides were definitely the highlight for me, particularly the mac and cheese. My friends thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday roast.

My husband and I wanted a lovely steakhouse and this came recommended on a couple of websites. When our food arrived, the chicken wings were cold and did not taste fresh. The rib eye weighed 45oz according to the menu but at least 50% of it was fat. When we complained, the waiter said "well, rib eye is fatty". We... More

Went to this restaurant with 2 friends on a Friday night. The view is lovely if you manage to be sit next to the window with St. Paul's view, otherwise it is nothing special... The restaurant is very big and I found it quite noisy too. We ordered some bread, a bottle of red wine, a fillet each with spinach... More

It was the only restaurant that we made a booking. We thought it is a fancy restaurant so we should make that booking. Anyhow, we did! We requested a table with a view at St. Paul Cathedral, but your request was not met. They squeezed us to some dark "couples" tables with curtains. The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We had the... More

Good atmosphere and location. Picanha sundayroast was delicious. Helpful staff. The only minus were knives. I've been given 3 different but none of them were sharp at all. Next time I'll bring my own knife to enjoy that picanha more 😀😀😀

I took my boyfriend here as a treat for his 26th birthday. Simply amazing restaurant, the food was gorgeous, the staff were perfect hosts, the building is in a great location and is a lovely place if you want to get dressed up for a special occasion. I booked the table online and informed them it was my boyfriend's 26th... More

Once again an excellent dinner. We had a table over looking St. Paul's and the view is stunning. The steak is excellent and there is a good buzz in this place. Thoroughly enjoyable. Only criticism is the service was a bit slow and it wasn't that busy!

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
