Another excellent meal to celebrate my imminent retirement. The bill came to £100 per person but we all ate and drank our fill. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. He did try to up sell us some expensive wine but the house red we had was very drinkable. The steaks, as ever, were amazing and show the... More

Very disappointed, service was slow even though it was early evening. The staff were more interested in chatting with each other. We both had fillet, slightly over cooked, tough and no flavour. A huge disappointment and expensive. I would not recommend or even go back.

Visit Hawksmoor when you need very well made cocktails, are hungry for some beautifully selected, well-cooked steak and even some of their thrice-cooked chips. We chose cocktails from an extensive list, including the Alamagoozlum, which no other bar in London has on its menu (!), and the bartender (there are several) advised on spirit choices. The meat is stunning and... More

My son kept telling me how good this restaurant was and I'm so glad we came! The staff are just so friendly and welcoming, so therefore the service is really, really good! The food too was delicious and nothing's too much trouble for them! My friend's steak was not done to her liking and they changed it with no fuss!... More

Great venue, nice ambience. Reception staff were pleasant, drinks at the bar and our waitress; all good. My steak (ribeye), was OK. Wife's fillet, OK. Ribeye was not bursting with flavour and was chewy in places; meat not fat. Fillet; again a little chewy and again, not the tastiest. No wow factor for us on these meats. Maybe we had... More

Had a lovely meal last night. Steak cooked to perfection and the sides were great. Waitress picked a very good wine to go with the meal, and the Champagne Charlie was great 😊

First ever visit to a Hawksmoor after wanting to for a very long time. I know it was one of the best Sunday Roasts my Mum and I have had. Superb service, drinks menu and amazingly cooked and tasty beef of course. We really, very much enjoyed it. The beef was like cutting through butter. Cooked medium rare to perfection.... More

Hard to find but worth it. Great bar scene and then a meat lovers paradise in the dining room. Steak was very good but not perfect - plenty of sides and great wine list. Staff were mostly very good but sometimes forgot to come over. Very noisy dining room but great atmosphere. All up a good night.

Everything about this place was perfect. The pre-dinner drinks in the bar...the steak...the appetizer...the dessert. All could not have been better. Not cheap...but not over expensive either. The rib eye steak was the most incredible cut of meat and cooked to perfection. More than worth the cash. The service was relaxed but very professional. Will definitely be visiting again.
