Myself, my wife and my son stopped in for a cocktail on a Sunday lunchtime. Once we saw the roast we couldn't resist. Cocktails were fantastic & the roast dinner was amazing. In usual Hawksmoor style the staff relaxed and friendly, we didn't want to leave. We'll be back !

Went for a birthday meal with my boyfriend and absolutely loved it. Great food and great atmosphere. The steak and sides were all fantastic, especially the mushrooms and creamed spinach. For desert we shared a sticky toffee pudding which is one of the best i have tasted.

Maybe it was just us - but our table, unfortunately in the bar area but having the dining menu - was in a major draught. The steaks, mine ordered medium and friends medium rare arrived very quickly, mine was soon found to be rare - very rare, which would have been ok if I could have seen it well enough... More

Don't get me wrong Hawksmoor do a great steak and some very tasty sides but the quality of the meat and cookery is superior at Goodmans. I will always enjoy a meal at the Hawksmoor but it's not the best in town!

I booked this for my partners birthday as she loves a good steak. Another couple joined us. We arrived 30 mins early as I'd heard they had a nice bar area and served good cocktails and we wanted to relax before eating. The bar staff who served us suggested an excellent cocktail for my partner and I had a lager.... More

Thank you for a fantastic meal with friends on Wednesday night. The staff were fantastic and knowledgeable. They had my gluten free menu ready before I had asked for it. Steak was to die for and I was told great feedback for the veggie and lobster options. Reasonably priced for the quality of food we had. Great birthday treat!!

The simple Chateaubriand steak (medium rare) with chips and cream spinach was amazing. Though, a 1 course meal for two with no alcohol is around £100 so make sure you check the price of your steak if your cost conscious! But, the steak is fantastic, quiet atmosphere (good for business discussions) and service attentive.
