The first thing we did when we arrived in London was to look for this restaurant. (We were starving!) We were looking for a place that can offer us amazing steak and stumbled upon their website, reviews are really good so we gave it a go. Starters, especially the bone marrow was exceptional. They offer several cuts of meat which... More

We were last in London 4 years ago and enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch here. When we knew we were returning we were looking forward to repeating the experience. Unfortunately our only Sunday in London was our arrival day and the earliest we could make it to the restaurant was 4 pm. I am fully aware that we risked it... More

We took one of our sons here to celebrate his 18th Birthday and he does love a good steak and he was not disappointed, it is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and the meal, the atmosphere were excellent. the staff were helpful and explained the diffrerent cuts of meat, so for us as novices this was... Surf and turf. Superb. If you can fit it in, belly strips to start and the crocs/ice creams for pud. You will thank me.

Went there today for a Sunday brunch and everything was perfect. The best Sunday roast that I've tried in London, excellent service and very friendly staff. Recommended!

We visited here on Saturday evening with friends. The steak was admittedly very very good, but £6.50 for a side of creamed spinach?! I ordered the fillet and there was no waste at all. So for a fillet and a rump with sides and three glasses of wine.....£110.00!! I think thats just plain excessive. Staff friendly, noisy bar area and... More

Visited as a pre theatre dinner, used 3 courses for £30 through bookatable. The place has great ambiance and very attentive and friendly staff. Knowledgeable about the menu and gave great service. we really enjoyed everything about the experience except for one thing- one of our steaks had been horribly butchered, and the whole of one side was an inedible... Okay, so would it be bad for me to hope this restaurant is not successful and they have to close their doors and open up close to where I live? Yeah, I suppose it would be mean of me. In that case, I will tell you the truth… the place was amazing, delicious, and I have been craving their Bone... More

Hawksmoor is an excellent London steak house, and I have been to all five locations.  I prefer the one in Seven Dials, because of ambience, location and quality of service.  I also usually go on Monday evenings with friends who care about good wine, since the restaurant offers "corkage" for a fiver.  I have dined there on Monday evenings many times with friends,...
