We stopped here for breakfast as we were taking the tube to meet a tour. This is a basic bar and grill with lots of room and no frills---you can see the station (you're on the 2nd floor) from some windows and the outside with others. They serve breakfast and it was good, fast and reasonably priced. This is a... More

Very busy place right in Victoria station. Upstairs. No windows or fans going and it was a hot day I ordered fish stick sliders. Terrible. Little bun with two French fries and two small fish sticks. Six of those. Told waiter it was pretty terrible, when he asked. He was kind enough to take off 50% of the bill. Would.... More

Weatherspoons. I have ordered the Piri Piri Chicken three times now in three different Weatherspoons and every time the chips have been cold and the chicken over-cooked so much too dry. Yes it's cheap at £8 including a drink but it just isn't worth it.

We went here for breakfast because it was convenient. The TVs are well positioned and if you just want to watch sport it is fine. However, the service and the food are dreadful. There is a Weatherspoons on the other side of the station which is a fraction of the price and much better.

Terrible service, terrible food, overpriced and uncomfortable. We booked a table here to watch a football match. Would never go back again! When we arrived and asked for drinks - a Strawberry and lime cider, diet lemonade and pint of fosters. They didn't have the cider or diet anything except Coke. Then no strongbow left. We settled for whatever was... More

I decided to try it after being handed a free drink coupon when they were closed for renovations a week earlier. I ordered the minute steak and fries which at £13:99 which wasn't cheap so I had high expectations. What I got was a colourless plate of average French fries and a minute steak resembling an over-cooked burger patty. Despite... More

I dined here at the Sports Bar & Grill Victoria this afternoon and am quite pleased. First, don't be turned off by the description as an American sports bar because the food is much closer to a pub to me. For example, no American beer and most of what they have I've never heard of. Which is just fine with... More

A good friend booked a table for 6 about two weeks earlier to watch England's final Round 1 Match v Slovakia last night, Monday, 20th June (Euros 2016). We all had arrived by shortly after 1900 in anticipation of a 1945 kick-off, which would be preceded by beers, wine and light food. Unfortunately, SBG Victoria had other plans ... First,... More

We walked in as we were very hungry having just arrived in London from our flight. The waitresses are very busy and you can tell that they are working hard and after 15 minutes no one even noticed us. We had to get up and go ask a waitress for a menu. The place is very concentrated on sports (of... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
