Welcome to the new generation of Ponti's Italian Kitchen, which has been family-run since 1963. The family originates from Piacenza in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and they are passionate and committed to the exceptional food of the region. Dishes are simply prepared using the freshest quality ingredients, with a generation's twist on traditional classics. Provenance is a key part of the menu, with several dishes denoted with the DOP logo, the official mark which certifies that the products are genuine speciality products from the region. So, the Parma Ham is from Parma and nowhere else. With two sites in London on Duke Street and John Prince's Street, Ponti's Italian Kitchen appeals to a broad clientele and serves food all day. From a cooked breakfast to afternoon tea and cakes, and late supper through to a great cocktail, the menu remains true to Ponti's Italian roots. Stylish and comfortable, Ponti's has a sixties-inspired interior design, with banquette seating and wooden chairs around tables of all sizes. Red walls are adorned with pictures of Pontis through the generations, alongside a variety of oils, pastas and vinegars for sale. The wood stone pizza oven adds a sense of excitement to the restaurant, further emphasised by the open kitchen. A lively and entertaining space with contemporary music in the background, Ponti's Italian Kitchen conveys all the best attributes of an Italian home - great fresh authentic food, warmth and fun. Ponti's Italian Kitchen is proud to receive the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award 2012, for consistently achieving outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Approximately 10 percent of restaurants listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award that honours hospitality excellence.

Ate with a pre booked party of 12. The Food, Service and Restaurant were all of Top Quality. We had a wide range of the menu including desserts, and all were good. Someone even passed comment that the coffee was particularly good. Try it!

Opposite Selfridges on Duke street, not too far from Bond street, we discovered a quiet , cosy little italian restaurant...and had a late lunch. Nice wooden interior, very interesting Italian menu..We had minute steak with fries and chicken milanese. Service was friendly and professional, food arrived cooked exactly as ordered and tasted delicious. Excellent value for money.

Very nice, calming atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxing lunch. Exactly what I had while catching up on emails and planning the rest of the day. Just right level of service. A good chicken Caesar with the works and a glass of Pinot. Fed around me looked phenomenal, plan to come back for a heavier Italian meal. Just off Oxford street... More

Please note there are 2 Ponti's - the Duke Street one does not have tables opposite the kitchen - so no kitchen noises! A small gem of a place- cosy, relaxed, good food, excellent service. Felt really comfortable. Ate at 6pm on Thursday night. Will definately will stop by again when in the area.

If you need to talk business or walk a romantic setting. This place is pretty loud. The booths are across from the kitchen. Lots of loud clanging. There is 1 nice table just on the other side of the kitchen. Try to get that one. The food is very good.

It was last breakfast in London, good choice to end your trip. The baked bean was delicious and soft. The toast served with soft butter. The vg breakfast was good. I like the interior design of the place. I will visit this place again InshaAllah

Very good set lunch in a bustling atmosphere. Good service and we'll positioned for a break from the hustle and bustle of Oxford St.

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
