It is always a challenge to find somewhere for a lunch that can cope with 12 to 89 year olds with all ranges in between. This is the perfect place. The waiters and waitresses are very helpful and charming and the environment is light and...More

Visit this restaurant for my birthday. Very nice restaurant with fancy furniture. My whole experience a bit disappointed as we have to wait for food long and no one came to inform that they are busy and the food can be delays which will be...More

Lucked upon this beautiful restaurant in North Kensington by searching restaurants near our AirBnB. The room is chic without being cold, the food was creatively prepared and presented from an open kitchen, and the staff especially our waiter/manager Leonard was friendly and warm. As an...More

Came here for lunch quite often. Creative fare prepared in an open kitchen and a trendy, industrial looking venue. Food was always good and the free flat bread starter is a nice touch. On a sunny day sitting on the terrace is awesome. Service is...More

We were attracted to the Dock kitchen due to it's beautiful location on the canal. Inside the restaurant is really stylish and the staff were very friendly. We sat in the outdoor areas as they allow dogs. It felt like we were somewhere exotic. Unfortunately...More

The Dock Kitchen may be stuck out in north Kensington, but it is quite wonderful. Situated just north of the Portobello Road market, this restaurant overlooks the Portobello Dock on the Grand Union Canal. We arrived for their lunchtime special that changes daily. A main...More

When we arrived it took at least 15 minutes for us to be attended. The Olives that we ordered were over sized and there were only 6, the bread was full of oil and had an intense flavour of lemon. My sandwich was ok, the...More

I waited for 45min to get my dish (with the restaurant almost empty). The waiter didn't advice about any long wait time. Nice environment but mediocre food and absolutely overpriced. £72 for 3 people, my son only ate a snack and no wine or dessert...More

Had a really wonderful dinner here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend. I actually can't find fault with any of it. The food was tasty, filling and in generous portions and the wine was lovely. The flatbread they give you before the meal had...More

The food and service was amazing both times I visited Dock Kitchen. I really enjoyed the winter mezzo with tandoor oven flat bread and beetroot hummus amongst other, and a small grilled cheese sandwich with prosciutto which was absolutely amazing.

Description
Located in a converted Victorian wharf building on London’s famed Ladbroke Grove, The Dock Kitchen is the West London restaurant venture of Stevie Parle, one of the capital’s most exciting young chefs. Trained at The River Café, Moro and Petersham Nurseries, Stevie has a nose for the new and a keenness to experiment, resulting in a spontaneous, exciting modern rustic menu, constantly changing and built around the best and most interesting ingredients that happen to land on The Dock Kitchen’s chopping board. Regenerated by Derwent London, The Dock Kitchen’s home overlooks the Grand Union Canal in one of the capital’s most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods. Many of the original features have been preserved and combined with a full display of Tom Dixon furnishings and lighting, a visual complement to the glorious food of the kitchen. Al fresco riverside dining is available during the summer months, while the sleek Kitchenette Bar with its glorious cocktails and moreish bar meals cement The Dock Kitchen’s reputation as the place to be.
