Always a treat when you come here. Service was great and the food was made to perfection. Eggs royale is one of my personal favourites! Highly recommend, lovely spot!

Cote is a reliable fall back chain and there are now, thank goodness, several of them all over London and we have been to a number of them (Wimbledon, Fulham, here and elsewhere). Part of the USP is that the food is prepared to a formula, most of the dishes appear to have been prepared off-premises and the cooks have... More

Have been to many cotes including this one but not for a while. Last time this place was good in terms of service and quality of food (relatively speaking = not expecting Michelin starred!). French onion soup was the worst I ever tasted. Incredibly salty probably due to the use of cheap commercial stock. Mostly bread and cheese and about... More

We are enjoying our meal ( Grilled chicken + Chicken salad ) and the desert the ( chocolate mouse with vanilla ice cream ). Reasonably busy for a Saturday afternoon. Very popular with the Notting Hill locals. Service is fine.

My very dear girlfriend and I dined here a late night. The staff was nice and service-minded. The food was delicious and well cooked. I ordered a rib eye steak and wanted it bleeding red (blue) which I got. The beans and potato puree were tasteful. The prices compared to those in Denmark were very affordable. I would visit this... We called the same day for booking a table for our family of 4 generations, a total of 16 persons. Everything turned out as good as it could, both the location, the personal, the service an the food was excellent, it don't get much better than this! And when the price range also is on the bright side we can't... More

We (family of 4, 10yo and 8 yo) booked 7 pm wed sitting, great welcome, very fast drinks order and starters came in timely fashion, the restaurant was packed, always a good sign, we were looked after by Iliana , special mention well deserved as working so hard but very attentive and efficient, service really was spot on. Food was... More

We'd been heading towards Bayswater tube station for 4 days of our vacation in London. Today we decided to head in the other direction & we were glad we did as we struck upon this lovely French brasserie for breakfast. My husband had the vegetarian breakfast & I had the Eggs Benedict. For £10 each, the breakfast would also include... More

My food arrived and I could tell before tasting it that it was reheated from the previous day... The staff were horribly rude and the food just was awful. I've been to other Côte's and had a good experience so I'm really disappointed that my local Côte is so bad. I wonder what's gone wrong with this one...

Excellent choice for travelers looking for a relaxed and slightly upscale sit down experience. My husband and I went for breakfast, and the quality and value were terrific. I saw other locations around London in other neighborhoods, and I would recommend this chain highly.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
