First off, the view from the top was lovely! After that it just wasn't impressive at all. You have to enter the building by a back entrance & are then escorted through a dingy corridor to the lounge area which lacks any atmosphere at all- it felt empty. Food needs to be improved, you get 4 sandwiches, 4 small cakes... More

I was bought afternoon tea here as a gift. I tried to change the date, but was unable to do so. I changed my plans in order to make the date work, so when I arrived to find the venue closed I was rather annoyed. I had confirmed the booking, they had my details and yet no one bothered to... More

Really even with a Groupon voucher this place was over-priced for what you actually got! On the plus side, the staff were very attentive and pleasant - and you couldn't fault them at all, but what they served up as an afternoon tea was extremely poor. The Altitude must be making HUGE profits because they only use two slices of... More

Went for afternoon tea and was very disappointed with the small portions of sandwiches and cakes served at the table. I politely asked if we could have some additional finger sandwiches but this request was ignored and the small cake selection was produced. There were no scones on offer either and all in all this was a very mediocre experience... More

Ultimate brunch in the sky!!!!! Venue dark & cold & the food was so disappointing apart from a poached egg everything was cold. I have never left a restaurant hungry but today I did & at £50 a head a complete rip off. ULTIMATE LET DOWN.

We had a groupon voucher for champagne afternoon tea. Even at the reduced rate we were not very impressed. The sandwiches and cakes were not up to much and there were not any scones. No atmosphere in the room. Certainly would not recommend this afternoon tea experience to anyone.

We paid about GBP800 for the DISCOUNTED VIP tickets for NYE 2015. On the way in to the 'luxury' night we were charged GBP2 an item for the cloakroom and told our 'unlimited free drinks' were only valid on the top 'VIP' floor. None of the acts promised showed up and the international food stations consisted of Iceland pies and... More

We went to the Millbank Tower in April 2016 for an afternoon tea after an online offer. At 29 floors up, the views from the tower are amazing, and it doesn't matter too much where you are seated, as the staff don't mind you walking around to take photos. The afternoon tea itself was nice, with the usual sandwiches and... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
