Not a huge choice, but around seven choices in each starter, main, desert. All amazing! I found I could have had my food hotter, but then my husband said it was fine. Overall, the service was faultless, attention without being intrusive. Can't wait to go back.

We expected a very fine dining experience before we got here, and The Goring Dining Room did not disappoint. From the moment we were seated, wonderful services provided, ambiance, presentation, and most notably the delicious food (especially the Beef Wellington), we were extremely happy to have been here. We certainly shall return for more of this place in the future.

Was taken here by my son for lunch as part of my Christmas gift. Really is a charming restaurant will a real elegance about it. Food was excellent the deer with venison sausage must be one of the best meals I have eaten. Only one gripe they gave us petit fours at the end which were then charged for on... More

Often go here for Sunday lunch and, whilst the food and service are usually excellent (except the roast potatoes, which are always dry and tasteless), I cannot help but feel it lacks atmosphere. In the old days, when I went even more regularly, there were English ladies of a certain age with one or two gentlemen serving us, with a... More

This was our second experience in this beautiful restaurant. Went for a meal with my friend after a matinee. The hotel itself was an oasis of calm, we were shown to the bar and a seat by a friendly waiter who sorted drinks quickly and came back with menus. The meal was one of the best I have ever eaten.... After a play close to the Goring we decided to have a late supper at The Goring. The bar was the area we selected as it is charming and rich in comfort. We had the lobster Omelet and I must say it was the best Omelet I have ever eaten. I want to back for a full dinner

This is such an oasis of calm with a welcome from doormen, concierge, bar and restaurant staff that make you and your guests feel very special. My wife and I arrived early to enjoy the discretely stylish Christmas decorations, the log fire in the drawing room and a delicious jug of freshly brewed coffee (£5.50pp) before our guests joined us.... I attended a breakfast meeting in the Goring Dining Room. The coffee was excellent as was the cooked breakfast - I had poached eggs on toast. The staff were really attentive without being overbearing. This is a great venue for a business meeting.

Visited for a pre Christmas lunch and everything was perfect as usual. The door staff, bar and restaurant staff make you feel like old friends not just a customer. The cheese course was too die for.

It's tough. I could give 4 stars and focus the review on the bad parts, or give 3 stars and focus on the good parts. I mean.. nothing was really bad at the entire dinner, but it was a really not memorable experience. The food was good - a little unsalted and blent for my taste -. Started off really... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
