We love the Goring Dining Room both for the excellent food and for the warm friendly welcome we receive from the Staff who greet you as old friends and make you feel very special. Last Friday we returned to the Goring for dinner after a hectic day in London and relaxed in the beautiful restaurant. We both chose a salad... More

From the moment you enter this special place you feel the ambience. The welcome from Staff make you feel as though you are a regular customer. We were shown in to the 'Gin Garden' for a pre-luncheon drink, and had the best Pimms ever.! The service is impeccable, and the food full of flavour and presented beautifully. The Wine List... More

Probably my favourite hotel dining room in London. Comfortable well spaced tables, excellent knowledgeable staff who worked at many places of repute and know what good service is about. Food is excellet across the board and worthy of its star. Eggs Drumkilbo a favouritee of the Queen Mother's and still on the menu today. For wine lovers; As one would... More

We only went for lunch with some very good friends who have eaten here many times & no wonder why! Apparently the restaurant has recently been awarded a Michelin Star and from what we ate & saw I am not surprised. The set lunch was very good value and we will definitely be back!!

We went here for a special lunch for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The food was amazing. It looked and tasted absolutely beautiful! All of the staff were subtly attentive and anticipated our every need. It isn't cheap. We went for the special lunch menu (£49 per person for three courses). Coffee and petite fours were £5.50 but you got a... More

Just arrived in London, checked into the charming Goring Hotel and can highly recommend the accommodations, their atmospheric bar and their one star Michelin ranked restaurant. We started in the bar with pre - dinner drinks....service was impeccable and the Kir Royale and martini were both top drawer. It was quite relaxing and the waiter allowed us an opportunity to... We loved the service we received from the moment we sat down. We had a three course meal with champagne. The champagne was excellent. All our three courses were delicious, just the perfect size. We were given petit fois at the end of our meal and offered more once we'd finished - if only we could have fitted them in!... More

From the moment we set foot inside The Goring all of our needs were attended to.The level of service was IMPECCABLE. We dinned with our Daughter & Fiance for my Husband 50th Birthday. I did phone head and ask if My Gentlemen needed to wear a Jacket, I was informed they would prefer if gentlemen did wear a jacket. Dining... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
