I'd never been to a Pho before but things did start with a bad impression. There was loud rhythmic music blasting out of a speaker behind he. Quite how restaurants seem to think this somehow improves the dining experience is an utter mystery to me. Perhaps a restauranteur can explain sometime? Thankfully they turned this right down on request -... More

I have visited this cafe a number of times for work and pleasure. There is a fantastic menu with a great selection of authentic items, especially the noodle soups. The fresh juices are also a highlight of the menu. A very good choice for lunch if in the area.

I got this on Ubereats. My pho was really oily, didn't really enjoy it. I'm told by friends Pho is supposed to be like this, however I get Pho quite a lot and have never experienced it with a layer of oil on top!

Small but perfectly formed. Pho was lively and bustling with a great atmosphere. Staff bright and friendly and service excellent. Fantastic food with vibrant flavours all very reasonably priced. I had the rice paper veggie summer rolls for starter. The peanut dip was delicious. My main was a beef brisket broken rice curry that was incredibly fresh and tasty. I... More

This was one of the taster Pho I have had, as they often lack depth. I did need to add a bit of chilli oil and sauce to the broth but I like chilli. Service was attentive and base price good. I like that you can add ingredients to the soup, though £1 each for a few beans and pak... More

A very popular restaurant for lunch, judging by the queues for sit down and takeaway meals. The staff were rushed but still found time to be friendly and helpful. All started well. The fresh juices were excellent. Our starters of squid in batter and chicken rolls were terrific. However the pho itself was a bit tasteless and not as tasty... More

Always rammed at lunch time but the staff are always very friendly and hugely efficient so you end up getting seated and fed fairly quickly! Always go for the tofu and mushroom pho - never fails to impress! Dragonfly down the road is cheaper and also very nice but the overall experience here is better!

We stumbled across the chaotic little restaurant while looking for something to eat. We decided to take the first place we came across, and weren't disappointed. It's small, and the staff frantically re-arrange the furniture to fit in whoever appears, but the food is really tasty.

Tiny restaurant in the heart of the City of London. Tables crammed uncomfortably close together. Harassed staff trying to cope with too many customers. Incredibly noisy! BUT.... Really great, authentic Vietnamese street food (and we know, having spent a month in Vietnam recently) and really good value for money. We had a selection of the appetizers, all of which were... Went to Pho Soho, had both the spring roll entrees which were delish followed by the spicy brisket pho! Absolutely awesome, definitely recommend! Good value for money, if you didn't get the entrees the soups were only about £8 Only negative would be the lighting was a bit dark -people like to be able to see what they are eating!... More

We specialise in the Vietnamese national dish, pho, an amazingly tasty and nutritious noodle soup, as well as other wonderful Vietnamese foods, coffees (served Vietnamese style including the renowned weasel coffee! ), beers and fresh juices. A small, cosy cafe, it seats around 35 and offers take-away. The kitchen here is tiny so the menu is slightly shorter than at our subsequent branches.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
