Found this convenient "Ale and Pie" pub near our theatre trip. Great welcome and service with a traditional pub menu likely to please all. Would visit others of this type if there were any more local, but none north of the west end. Good Covid...compliance. Unusual for a pub to apply a service charge, especially on drinksMore

Had a very enjoyable evening with friends in this busy pub, located centrally in the West End. Feedback from myself and others, that the bar staff need to be aware that it’s annoying to order a pint of beer, and not receive a full pint,...I gave up asking for them to top up the glass, plus it’s not a good reflection on the brewer, £5.25 for a pint of “London Pride” I suggest a little more appreciation of the customers by staff, a full pint and the staff to be trained better with pulling a pint.More

The young man behind the bar poured me a beautiful pint of ale within seconds of me perching at the bar. Didnt catch his name but a credit to whoever hired him. Great little pub.

Only had time for a quick pint of Bulmer's but as ever cheerful service. Always go here when I am in London. Looking forward to another trip in the summer when I can sit outside.

Called in here after theatre on Saturday 21 December to get out of the rain and were greeted like old friends. Could not have felt more welcomed. Bar staff chatted to us and even provided us with an umbrella so we wouldn’t get wet going...back to our hotel Hope the barman from Nottingham enjoyed his Christmas treats and Rachel got her nail sorted. Happy New Year to you all.More

Had the buttermilk chicken sandwich here yesterday . Was probably the worst thing I have eaten in years. I left all of the greasy fries and 2/3 of the sandwich behind . A young lady came by any cleared my plate without a word ....I mentioned to her that it was grim and really greasy, she replied by telling me It’s deep fried . She saw me leave almost everything behind after paying £15 for the atrocity , told me she would tell them and never came back . Customer service on a par with food obviouslyMore

An excellent Saturday lunch with friends. Fish and Chips or Pie washed down with a pint or two of Fullers. It was very busy so I would recommend booking in advance at busy times.
