I think some of the reviews have accidentally been left reviews for this branch instead of the wardour street one. Leaving reviews saying it's good value at £7.95?. This shaftsbury branch is £11.95 which is bordering on being a bit more than I would prefer...to pay. But I do go to choose mr wu usually when I want a buffet to eat after visiting theatre or movie as it is cheapest out of all the buffet type restaurants so Mr wu should keep that in mind. The shaftsbury branch I visited has a bit more choice than wardour street branch with a choice of salad and 2 soups which was good. Plus a few more dishes overall which is why I choose it over the wardour street one Next time im in chinatown I will likely choose Mr Wu again as it is competitively priced and quite a nice ambience inside.More

We stopped in here on our way to a gathering with friends - loved the selection of food and it was cheap too. Particularly enjoyed the char sui pork and the szechuan tofu. Would definitely recommend!

Easily the worst place I’ve ever eaten at. Food was cold and slimy which was clearly just frozen food from a supermarket re heated. £7.90 seemed cheap but when you go in you will realise it’s a scam. Just disgusting food. It is completely quiet...and depressing in the “restaurant” and all you can hear is coughing and sneezing on the food. Kinda explains why I was sick the next day. Anyway I would highly suggest not to go here, just helping you out:)More

This is a very cheap all you can eat Chinese buffet restaurant in central London so I didn't expect much. The food was tasty and a good selection considering the price. If you just want a quick Chinese meal at a cheap price then this...is a good place to visit. Don't forget to bring cash as they don't accept cards.More

10.95 eat as much as you like. It's no frills dining. There's alot of choice with some dishes better than others. Lots of deep fried veg and spring rolls, soup to start eyc. The meat dishes and noodles were good, pork and beef were great and...to be fair you could eat your money's worth of shrimp. I'd probably go again. Staff were nice enough and just leave you to it. I like cash only places. Even quicker when you want too leaveMore

Called in today to eat before a five hour coach journey, and hadn’t eaten properly in a few days (literally just a sandwich the day before so I was hungry!)… Staff are LOVELY. Really really polite, they keep the place clean and they’re really attentive...- perfect service. Food however was awful. Most of it completely tasteless and stone cold - and I literally mean stone cold, not even lukewarm in some cases. Don’t get me wrong it’s amazing value for money, £12.75 on a Sunday including my Diet Coke, but just diabolical food.More

Passed a few all you can eat buffets in Chinatown, and think this was the cheapest £6.95 to eat in or £5 to take out- wish my local Chinese takeaway food was this nice! Never had such delicious chunks of chicken from a Chinese dish....Prawn crackers were lovely. Drinks very cheap. Yes you are crammed in but its London they’re working with the space they have. Cash only. Would definitely go again when in London 😊More

Delicious chinese food in the form of a buffet. Go back as often as you wish, there is a huge choice. £6.95 for sit inside a pound less for take away. Does get very busy, has seating on three floors but still queues, less at...lunch. Definitely recommending this restaurant and next time in the area we will be eating here again.More

Staff we're very rude, cussed at me in a different language. Food was limited and was cash ONLY. Inside was very limited and the plate wasn't very clean

Nice selection of food for the price. Staff were very friendly and cheerful. For just over a tender a head in London, we left quite happy and very full! Cash only restaurant.

I don't normally do buffets, as they tend to be bland, but at £6.95 I thought I'd give it a go, while the interior isn't great and no chance of social Distancing with the tables so close to each other, the choice of food was...OK, the curry unfortunately had no taste whatsoever but the other choices were ok, for £6.95 you don't expect fine dining, but if you're hungry and want cheap food, then it's okMore

At the low price of the buffet we did not expect anything to write home about. However we were pleasantly surprised when we sat down to eat after payment. The staff were attentive and the food options were changed promptly as they run low. The...food quality and taste were terrific, especially the sweet and sour chicken option. Will be eating there again the next time we pass by China town and need somewhere quick to eat.More

We we going to see Les Mis & the Restaurant is opposite . It was really busy Saturday Evening but they managed to squeeze us into what I think was more like a large store cupboard .than a room . The restaurant is obviously a...buffet & self service & to be fair was it the best Chinese Restaurant we've been to ? No ! but as a quick meal for only £ 10.95 per head with a good selection Maybe ! The restaurant is basic cramped & the service possibly leaves a bit to be desired but surely the real winner is that it's a great place to visit before or after the theatre . With the ques in Chinatown as there often are it is a quick & easy option . The price was just a bonus . Cash only I'd go back especially if going to the theatre & short on time .More

While out in London decided to go Here for dinner as all u can eat and great price…. Cheap.! But as they say if it sounds to good to b true it normally is and that’s exactly what it is here. Your packed in to...a tiny space almost sharing tables with other diners. And the staff are extremely blunt and rude And it’s cash only…!!! 21st century and in a busy west end and still only cash only…. I think there’s a fiddle going on…!!! Admittedly food was really nice but I wouldn’t go again if pay ore to go to another as I don’t appreciate eating in such a small space sharing a table with strangers.More
