We are Greenwich locals and pleased to have discovered this place. It mainly trades on being a Mediterranean restaurant but we had heard about, and sampled, their excellent Peruvian Ceviche. The sea bass with squid, prawns and mussels was fresh and cooked to perfection. Why did I decide not to give it the full five stars? The desserts were ok... More

We have been regular visitors of the Hill for years now and I cannot remember a single occasion where we left without a smile on our faces. The quality of the food is the big asset of this place paired with a very good wine list. The staff is more than welcoming and amicable and make you feel at home.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Hill. The whole table enjoyed their choices and the Mediterranean twist on the food. The service was friendly and efficient with a good choice of wines. A good place to meet friends and family.

Having been very excited about a South American restaurant in the area, I can't believe I hadn't been before this weekend and I also didn't leave disappointed. The outside isn't hugely attractive, but it's in a nice side street in Greenwich, by lots of houses, so the location is away from the hustle and bustle. Pulling up to see one... More

Had a very nice meal here last week, nice day so sat in courtyard amidst flowered garden, would base on a south American theme restaurant with a med twist, so something for everyone, good menu choice, reasonable priced, good service too, would recommend.

My partner and I went to The Hill (in Greenwich) last night for the first time. The front building didn't look inviting, but don't let this fool you! I had the Duck dish and my partner had the Ecuadorian Chicken dish and both dishes were delish! We also had the grilled veg plate and this too was super yummy! We... More

I went here with friends for a Friday night catch up after having it recommended by another friend. The food was excellent - a nice change and something a bit different, two of our party had the chicken in peanut sauce with rice, coriander and avocado and agreed that it was absolutely delicious. The service was great - prompt and... More

We were looking for an Italian restaurant by choice but with many restaurants being closed on a Monday we decided to go with The Hill. In the end we were. It disappointed with our decision at all, quite the opposite in fact. The menu offers a great selection of cuisine with Spanish, Italian and South American options. Overall the food... More

Description
A warm and friendly restaurant and bar with a light and airy atmosphere serving a wonderfully varied Mediterranean menu (with a distinctly Latin American twist!).
We are located in Greenwich, South East London, on the corner of Royal Hill and Point Hill, just a short walk from Greenwich DLR and mainline station.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
