Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names...
Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

Amazing food!

I'm a huge Gordon Ramsey fan and just had to try out one of his restaurants before leaving London. This one had good reviews and the menu prices didn't look bad. I wasn't disappointed at all, it was everything I expected it to be. I chose the £75 meal with the scallop as a starter. It was cooked... read more

Just came back from London . We had a exhibition and during the night we decide to have a dinner at Petrus of Gordon Ramsey . Monday night is not to busy and we had all the service we could wish . The lobster starter is super and the main dish was also delicious. Between the plates we had been... More

I went to Petrus with some business colleagues. I arrived early and was immediately made at home. I was given some savouries and a drink and felt relaxed immediately. The food was exceptional and the service attentive and knowledgeable particularly the wine waiter

We Really enjoyed thus place, not sure Gordon Ramsey still owns it any more, but no matter the food is what it's all about. We went for the tasting menu with the wines to match. Mostly all was good just the foie gras was not to my taste. Overall the food was devine with a good choice.

Having dined at many Michellin Starred restaurants over the years we were looking forward to lunch at Petrus. Sadly we left really underwhelmed. We really enjoy fine dining and appreciate portion sizes are smaller, designed for 3 courses. However, portion sizes here were very tiny, particularly the main course and it is the first time we have left a fine... More

Another 5* review from me because it always exceeds expectations. We go to Petrus a few times a year for special occasions because it's more than just a meal, it's an amazing experience. Certainly the best of Gordon Ramsey's eateries for us - great food, friendly staff and a perfect ambiance.

Six of us dined at the chefs table which has a fantastic view of the kitchen. The food was devine and there was a real variety of dishes and they easily catered for any food allergies. The different wines with each course was very educational and has opened my eyes to how much the taste changes depending on the dish... More

Like all 1 Star restaurants, it really is a hit or miss, went with a party of 5 for lunch, had the a la carte (not Set Menu). Service: Mixed, depended on whom it was, Maitre D and sommelier were very professional and courteous, the waitress serving our table was not so professional, she was quite clumsy when it came... We ate their vegetarian menu that included two courses and one dessert. The restaurant was very quiet and the service was a bit to excessive. The gnocchi tasted good but was not overwhelming. The agnolotti was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. A true umamiheaven. The desserts was a bit boring, nothing special at all. The big... More

Visited the restaurant with my wife during a business trip. We had the tasting menu with Black Périgord truffle as a supplement, with an excellent wine pairing! Great staff and a great experience.

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
