Cutting Room is my go to restaurant when I'm in the area. You'll always find delicious food being served. They have many vegetarian options, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Charming townhouse that has been converted into a sharing plates restaurant that prides itself not just on great food but also its sustainable and ethical approach. We had the tasting menu at £39.50 and it was a delicious! The wine menu was was small but...seemed to have most things covered. Service was effortless and the decor charming. We'll be back soon.More

On arrival last weekend .we where met with a terrible smell of "drains/toilet" smell in the basement .The moment we entered upstairs we where aware of it .Not something anyone would expect and the manager should be dealing with a issue like this .A food...establishment cannot smell like this . Red wine was great value .Food was Ok. But try giving a steak knife when serving sirloin steak !More

Cute little restaurant with lovely decor and a delightful British tapas menu. The food was amazing but sadly the service let this place down. We had to keep leaving our table to find staff, they forgot a couple of dishes, and questioned why we wanted...our plates changing when we ordered a second round of food. Get some attentive staff in and this place could be great, at the moment the service does not hit the mark, especially for the prices paid.More

This is a fairly new restaurant and it does sharing plates, they recommend 3 per person, but 2-3 is plenty. The food was excellent, the miso salmon was exceptional as were the vegetables dishes. I’d highly recommend it

6 of us with a combination of dietary needs including vegetarians, committed carnivores and gluten intolerance ate fantastically well. Everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, great staff. Highly recommended!

The Cutting Room, Charlotte Street, my choice of venue for a cheeky Friday lunch. The weather mid June still wasn’t warm enough to sit in one of the cute outside seats, so the window seat was the next best thing. On my last visit I...went with the only Rose on offer but today it had sold out 🤦🏼‍♀️ so as I felt £33 is too much for a bottle of Sav B, we settled on paying £25 (for the 3rd cheapest white). Food wise, the concept is the trend of recent years, sharing plates. The prawns are a big hit, the braised lamb croquettes not so much. Rocket & Parmesan salad the healthy dish to complement the chunky fries 😋 I spotted 4 staff, more than diners! The gin cocktail of the day looked good although I didn’t get to try. From prior visits the cocktails are amazing. Service was good, just the one guy taking orders & today he didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t want (like before) - maybe he remembered us? It’s a shame to see it so quiet, again, just one other table taken. Will the evening trade keep this little gem afloat? Can’t wait to try the evening bar one time & the outside board says avec live music 😊 #woodesthergoback Yes! 💁🏼‍♀️Super tasty food and today some awesome tunes playing. The vibe was good even though it was quiet, that’s not easy. Check out the ladies loo too, it’s the cutest! Instagram venue blogger @ wood_esther_go_backMore

We had a lovely dinner - the quality of the food is excellent, the menu choices diverse and the wine delicious. The service was really friendly, I felt more like a guest than a customer. I really loved the ambiance and decorative touches too -...right down to the glassware and crockery. I will definitely be backMore
