My last visit at Gulshaan was disappointing - the meal too oili, I was sick the whole night and the day after. I've been there before and it was always good, but this time was a dissaster.

Went here the other night and had a pretty nice meal. Staff were very friendly, the food a little slow but ok. Usual Indian fare.

I always get a good curry here, food comes out promptly and staff are friendly and polite. The menu has enough choice, but they could do with a Tofu option for my wife who's a vegetarian, as I'd get to go more often :-)

Went here on a Thursday evening before a gig at the Forum. Very quiet to begin with, we were the only two in there at nearly 7pm. On the basis of a previous review I had the paneer masala, it was pretty good but very, very sweet. Would have been perfect in half the size as a side dish. The... More

Very handy for a pre-Forum gig curry! Order taken promptly, staff attentive (but not overly-so) and friendly. Food was superb - the paneer massala main was sublime - beautiful sauce and plenty of paneer. The mushroom bhaji side was also among the best I've had, served with a fluffy, fresh garlic naan. Perfect all round. And all for under £20,... More

Went for a walk looking for food on a Sunday night. Came upon this place and was rather impressed. Popadoms weren't very nice, pretty oily. But the mains were really good. Had the lamb bhuna which was super tasty with mushroom rice & garlic naan. Saag aloo was awesome! Thanks, we will be back :)

We went here before a gig at the Forum, and needed a quick meal....it was anything but. We only wanted popadoms and a main meal. I presume they were understaffed. It took ages to order anything, and then we waited...and waited. We missed the support band, and there were no seats left, thanks to the rubbish service. The food was... More

Tell you what, this might have been the best curry I've had in London in years. I had a Saag Gosht, and it was quality - really flavourful, plenty of it, not too runny and not too dry. Had a garlic naan with it and it was suitably garlicy. The poppadums were perfectly fine and the staff had no problem... More

Worst curry I've ever had. Completely tasteless. A masala should be overflowing with flavour but all I could taste was a little heat and a little sugar (which shouldn't be there in the first place). Never again.

If you find yourself craving curry in North London, head for Gulshaan one of Kentish Towns most popular Indian restaurants. Situated right next to the tube station, its ideal for mid-week lunches and laid-back dinners before a gig at the Forum or a night out in Camden Town. The chefs use fresh herbs and spices and prepare each dish in the style of the region it originates from to guarantee an authentic flavour. The menu features familiar favourites like baltis, biryanis and seafood dishes like the spicy prawn madras. For something a little different, try Gulshaans signature dish Murgh Bade Saba, which is chicken cooked with green chillis, coriander, ginger, yoghurt and a unique blend of herbs and spices. You wont be disappointed!
