This was a cold winter night in Earl's Court and we had seen this place as we walked around earlier in the day.
It had a nice warm inside, extensive menu, nice decor and friendly waitress who was alone on the evening. The images, food, drinks all created the impression of being in Lebanon.
We had a good chat with the waitress who recommended various dishes and in-fact said we had initially ordered a bit to much. When the meals came we saw why and had fortunately taken her advise on the number of dishes.
I tried the Lebanese beer and have subsequently had a few times when I have returned home. Nice beer with the style of food.
The meals were all well presented, fresh and very tasty. Loved the baclava at the end as well. The price was 64 pounds which for what we had was very reasonable.
I would go again when we return to London later in the year.

This was our 4th visit. The occasion being my wife's birthday. Ww enjoyed starters of Chicken Livers in Pomegranate Sauce- delicious with the homemade bread. Chicken wings were full of flavour. The fattouche salad was a good size slightly salty more than I am used too but OK. The equivalent of cheese fatayer was served quickly which took the edge off our hunger when we arrived.
We spent a delightful couple of hours or so enjoying the meal, atmosphere and each others company. The mains of lamb cutlets with chips- succulent lamb was delicious. The king prawns served with aromatic rice and pine nuts ww really enjoyed too. The complimentary Lebanese desert ( mouhalabaya) - milk pudding, pistachio and a little honey was perfect after the heavy meal. It is easy to reach Earl's Court from Wimbledon Station. Our 4th visit. We look forward to visiting again after April 9th ( ISA). Friendly service too and a nice atmosphere too. Essential to book as it is very popular.

My husband and I went there on our last night in London as it as well reviewed and very near our hotel. trying to get my husband to try something new is a miracle in itself! It is a family owned restaurant and small. we went around 6:30 and it wasn't busy but it was a Monday night. First we tried the kibbie appetizer and the falafel.
Both were good, best falafel I think I've ever had. My husband had a mixed grill
2 kinds of meat kabobs with wonderful rice. he enjoyed. I also had a plate with 2 kinds of meat, maybe chicken and lamb but they were more chopped meats and VERY GOOD, (with delicious rice as well) BUT wayyyyyy too much portion wise. I could only eat about half of the meat and really felt awful not finishing it because it was so good. They could get by with less portion on that meal and may lower price a couple pounds!
we each had a couple cocktails/wine and they gave us a couple baklava at the end .... it was melt in your mouth DEVINE .
I would highly recommend this restaurant. I would give it $$-$$$

I was so excited to try this place based on reviews. I am really sorry the food felt like it had been prepared the day before at least. Maybe the chef is off Sunday. Anyway, there are many places that can service for at over ÂŁ50 per head including wine one that are much much better.
It appears to be mainly a take away service and may be those customers expect less.
The service was great and the restaurant was full. so may be it is us , not them.

First red flag: commercial pita bread at a Lebanese restaurant is always a bad sign. Second red flag: the lamb shawarma was very dry. Third red flag: the lamb shank had no shank and was tasteless, simply some sliced lamb piled on rich. Perhaps their other dishes are better but we were not hanging around to find out.

Very good food, friendly staff and quick service. Portions are big so don’t over order at the start. It’s a small, family run restaurant and prices for London are very reasonable. Clientele was a nice mix of families, solo diners (like me) and couples. Not fancy but nice ambiance. V close to Earls Court tube. Recommend.

Went on a Tuesday night and it was very busy, which is always a good sign. The service was very friendly but as they were so busy we were waiting a while to order and for the drinks and food. We decided to go for the set meal as the choices were so vast. We had hoped from the description that we would then be able to try little bits of more of the choices rather than having full portions. The waiter was very helpful saying there was no need for our daughter to order separate starters as ours would be enough. I don’t think he had banked on what a bread fiend our daughter is and we did have to order more. The shawarma that my daughter had was very good and our starters were really good. The rice and vermicelli was so tasty. The set menu was supposed to come with baklava but we were given one blancmange style dessert to share between three of us. I’m not sure what it was but it was heavily flavoured with rose water and the texture was not pleasant. I did want to query as to why we had been given this and not the baklava but they were too busy and we were tired by this point. The two set menus, my daughters main and a bottle of wine and bottle of water came to over £112 as they also add on a service charge, as I’ve found a lot of restaurants in London now do.

Best falafel I've ever had - and I've had falafel on multiple continents everywhere from Beirut to my grandmother's kitchen. Unfortunately, good Lebanese isn't available where I currently live so I seek it out frequently.
Stopped by on a Friday night after getting dropped off in front of the Tube station after a Stonehenge tour. Staff was very friendly and efficient - we ordered from the set menu to get a variety of food and enjoyed our visit.

Slightly chaotic to begin with, but the restaurant was very busy and all the staff were working hard. Once seated, we really enjoyed working through the menu, choosing a few mezze and chatting through the Lebanese wine options with our waiter. The food was very authentic and tasty, washed down with a lovely red wine (reserve). Complementary baklava rounded things off nicely and the bill was very reasonable. Recommended.

We stopped in for an early family Sunday lunch on the way to the BBC Earth exhibition. I initially booked because of the reviews and the location - directly opposite the exit from the Earls Court underground station. I am so glad that we chose Orjowan. The food was absolutely superb; fresh, flavoursome and plentiful (even for a ravenous teenage boy!). The service was very friendly and the price was good too.
Thoroughly recommended.

In London for only a few days, we stumbled upon Orjowan. Being of Lebanese descent, I had experienced my 2 tita’s authentic Lebanese cuisine. I have been to A-LOT of Lebanese (I am from the US and live in DC) and middle eastern restaurants, Orjowan is at the top of the list for its authenticity , menu choices and hospitality . The staff were warm and accommodating and a pleasure to meet the owner. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Go- you won’t be disappointed.

The waiter and I presume the female owner both seemed friendly enough. We had an evening meal of several mezze dishes all of which very tasty so I can't fault the cook. When ordering the waiter kept trying to upsell hoummus which we told him no. It came anyway. Potatoes were substituted for a dish which we were told was the same value. It wasn't. House white became a more expensive bottle. Service was included as well as two other dishes we didn't order or receive so that was taken off the bill after complaining. I didn't notice the change in price of wine or difference in price of substitute dish until later. A dessert which we didn't order was placed In front of us I guess to keep us happy but I wonder if we weren't charged for that too.
Compulsory service charge for what ended up being a joke is a sore point. You don't need to do this. Can I recommend you actually write down your orders with a pen and paper. I would have gladly come back again but frankly you left me feeling swindled and embarrassed for having to argue down the bill.
Compliments to the chef but please for your own sake don't screw up like this again.

Orjowan is not only one of our favorite restaurants in London, it’s one of our favorites in the *world*. We’ve dined there 4 times and each has been a great experience. Everything is tasty and well executed. My go-to main is the Orjowan King Prawns — the prawns are succulent and bathed in a rich, spicy sauce. We’ve also tried several of the chicken mains and the Kafta Meshwi, all of which are spiced and cooked perfectly.
For mezze, try the Hummus Beiruty, Halloumi, and Mousaka.
If you aren’t near Earl’s Court, Orjowan is still worth the trip. It’s a 15 out of 10 on the “yum” scale!

We just had the most fabulous dinner at Orjowan. We’re really trying to eat at small family restaurants while in London. This Lebanese treat is just down the road from our hotel. We walked by it a couple times and decided to try it. Our boys got chicken kabab and we shared the most delicious grilled seabass. Our server, Ahlaem, was so lovely—so warm—we felt like we were with family. We might just have to go back tomorrow night. Highly recommend!

What a great treat. Truthfully never eaten Lebanese before and we weren't sure what to expect, but the reviews looked great, menu looked good, so we gave it go. We are so glad we did, amazing food, really tasty, the Baklawa was out of this world and the orange blossom milk pudding was incredible. But then so too were the starters and mains. We had eaten a fair lunch so opted for 2 starters and 1 main, and of course 2 puds. Perfect balance. The staff were really lovely, helpfully explained what we didn't know and seem genuinely pleased to welcome us and that we had enjoyed it. Give it a go, you'll love it !

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
