So came here for lunch today... decor is typically over the top mexican... food felt very basic. Ordered a borito which was just filled with meat and no rice or beans. Won't be coming back again. Sorry

I don't understand at all how people can think this is good Mexican. The only possible solution to that conundrum is that it's mostly British people or others who haven't actually tasted good Mexican, that think that the gaudy and unauthentic sombreros they give you are fun. Please, if you've ever tried real Mexican food, or real Tex-Mex, whether in... More

We came here for a meal which we both enjoyed, however the service was a bit slow and the staff seemed to have difficulty with English. There are a lot of other nice restaurants in the area but if you want Mexican than this is the place to come.

I feel they're currently understaffed. we've been visiting for almost 20 years now and their product is very good, food-wise. but if you're understaffed then service is going to be slow and that's our experience today. some funny moments as well... realised that (a) the staff have NEVER been latin so don't bother trying a poco espanol on them. Romanian... More

Sadly the young waitress didn't speak English too well, however, she was very pleasant and engaging and managed to get our order eventually. The restaurant was packed and we had to wait a while. Really good atmosphere and courteous staff. The menu is mainly a la Mexico but offers a good range. We had mixed starters and steaks. Very nice... More

The Mrs and I visited here on a Saturday night with a few friends. The place was busy and everyone appeared to be having fun. The music was loud. We started with the grilled corn, garlic bread and their version of chips and salsa. The grilled corn came with 2 small pieces of corn which were very tasty. The garlic... More

Visited on a Friday night without a booking. The restaurant was busy but we were made to feel welcome and assured they could fit us in. A short wait later we were shown to our seats. Great service and friendly staff. Absolutely loved the chicken fajitas! Best I've tasted. Huge portions!!

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
