While the food was good, it's hardly authentic. It seemed to be geared more toward British taste rather than providing a true Mexican taste for guests to enjoy. The margaritas were pretty (never had a tomatillo in my drink-only for aesthetics), but with no salt on the rim and very little tequila they were not what I was looking for.... More

The team on the night I visited were all helpful and provided quick and excellent service. Went here with my 2 nephews and 1 of their girlfriends and had a great meal with good service. You can tell how popular this place was, as soon as a table became free, it was immediately filled with more customer.

Worst service ever!! Went there this evening the 2 blonde waitress's were rude and unhelpful, I asked about the menu and they were very blunt and rude not helpful at all. I asked for tap water with a slice of lemon and she bought me a glass of water when I asked for the lemon she said she squeezed it... More

Called for a dinner before the theatre and the experience was alright. Some of the staff seemed a bit clueless or really didn't seem to care too much which let the place down. Starters were nice, Mexican style calamari which had a nice bit of heat to it and the chorizo and cheese potato skins my wife had were lovely... More

Great place lovely food had a Steak and jd sauce only found it by chance before we went to the theatre. Very reasonable pricing we paid an extra £30 on a similar meal in maxwells Covent Garden and it wasn't a patch on this . The food was lovely!

I have just returned from lunch at Loco Mexicano. I was the first person in on a Monday lunchtime and ordered the chimichanga. The meal arrived quickly, but to my disappointment the clear reason for this was that the chimichanga had just been heated in a microwave and served. It was lukewarm and soggy. Given that this was on a... More

In town on business for the week and was looking for something that wasn't a chain, wasn't pompous, wasn't a wallet buster. Was hoping for an honest meal and I got one. I went for the chilli which was tasty, better than mine, but wasn't as hot as the menu suggests It came with everything you'd expect and was well... More

Had a fantastic lunch here before seeing Wicked down the road. Lovely nachos with dips - garlic bread is a winner too. Big portions and well priced.

I met up with a friend to catch dinner at Loco Mexicano. If it weren't for a couple of issues, I would have given the restaurant a greater rating because overall the meal was fine. It wasn't the greatest Mexican food that I have had, but it was satisfactory and tasty enough. While the staff were very friendly, the guy... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
