Went in here prior to dining at a tapas restaurant over the road. I had to send my beer back, as it tasted vinegary. This happens sometimes - I don't have a problem with that - but the next beer wasn't much better. As my 'phone went off at the time I took the replacement, I answered that and sat... More

Had a walk about and wanted to try the local pubs. The Drayton sports a large frontage and high ceiling and advertises the fact that there is a fringe theater above in the evenings. It wasnt very populated at the time we visited (just prior to lunch time). There were a few special beers on and I was permitted to... More

A lovely little pub with plenty of character. We had the Sunday roast today which was quite nice. The bar staff were very friendly and the pub was full of character.

Discover this place tonight. Very nice with a large choice of beer and wine. Came here to work on my computer I was definitely not disappointed by the atmosphere and decided to stay more to enjoy a glass of wine and chill. The Drayton Arms used to be a relaxing place to go out for dinner, with an interesting and varied menu. While the ambiance hasn't changed, last night's meal was disappointing. The full menu wasn't available (even my beer of choice had run out). The food was just average. Vegetables on my plate consisted on a few rocket leaves and shavings... More

Located ten minutes away from the South Kensington underground station, the Drayton Arms is the perfect place for a lovely evening. Firstly, the pub has a small theatre at the first floor, and schedules interesting performances and jazz nights. I personally went to see a performance in Bulgarian (with English subtitles) centred on Bulgarian culture that I particularly enjoyed. I... More

Myself and a bunch of friends popped into the Drayton Arms about a year ago, there was a Dj playing a fantastic selection of very groovy 45's. The website says he plays every Saturday between 8-12pm. Where is he then?

What a great little place. Good service, extensive selection of craft beer and wonderful small plates. Get 3 or 5 and save $$$. We happened to find this gem staying locally. They are very neighborhood friendly.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
