Whilst it might be true "you get what you pay for", I have to say the 5 burgers and meals our group ate following a visit to the tower were actually quite nice with the meat being quite succulent. However, it matters not, how good your food and drink offer is when the person who is serving you has the... More

This is located very close to several of the main tourist attractions, so it is a good spot to meet up for a drink or just to rest your feet. The food is ok, if you need to eat, but I would not go here on purpose if I was hungry. We had a fair size group and originally were... More

Went here for a quick drink, but decided to stay for lunch. Good service, wonderful location and good food. Well worth a visit for a reasonable prices lunch in the header of London.

Situated just opposite from the Tower of London. Good range of drinks at good prices. Quick service even though it was fairly crowded. The menu is the same as all the other wetherspoons, but it was nicely cooked and presented.

Have eaten in here previously, and also just popped in for quick drinks. Always busy as in hearth of tourist London. Typical Spoons, variety on menu and large selection of drinks available. Service is hit and miss - sometimes food is forgotten or staff overcharge for meal and drink combos. But an okay pit stop.

We really liked here. The place is great! The burguers were delicious and great price as it comes with a drink.

We have frequented many Wetherspoons. This Wetherspoons was nicely situated. Inside the place was bright as some are quite dark and dingy. There was a really good atmosphere . The prices were reasonable .

This is a Weatherspoons Pub quite big with a Gallery and big bar area. I have been a few times midday Saturday for a meetup with a photography group the pub has been very busy mainly tourists, as it is just over the road from Tower of London and Allhallows Church, and very near Tower Hill Station and Tower Gateway... Well positioned for me to meet friends and family as near Fenchchurch Street station. I find the food basic but good and plentiful and always a good selection of real ales. Sometimes very busy but room for children in the upstairs bar.

Bar Staff really friendly. Ordered Food....very disappointing...Pannini tasteless. Veggie Wellington...just like a pasty....Cottage Pie...not great. Waiting staff very busy...never asked if all was OK. Disappointed as most Whetherspoons we have visited the food has been great.

Thank Rose B

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
