We visited as a pit stop from sightseeing, and although we arrived at 12.30 on a Saturday we found a table complete with view of tower bridge easily. This branch doesn't have a full menu, so I wasn't able to order my favourite meal, but had a burger which was beautiful. Service was fast despite how busy it was, and... More

You dont come here for the decor, you come for the cheap booze! They always have good deals on beer/wine here, and if thats what you are after, look no further!

My daughter and I popped in here mid afternoon after a visit to the Tower of London. It was pretty busy but our food was served very quickly. Usual Wetherspoons fare. The tables upstairs were rather close together but didn't cause any real problems. Enjoyed the view!

Went for the Valentine's day set menu. Waited 20 mins between main and desert. They ran out of one of the set choices and had to offer a substitute. More waiting/kitchen staff would have helped.

Cracking pub for a good pint and value food. Was busy with lunchtime crowd when we arrived but still got a table. Typical wetherspoons menu which was cracking value and filling and a proper ale on the side. Good view of the tower and liberty square. Well worth a visit for a fuel up before or after a visit round... More

Wetherspoons is the budget travellers friend This is one of my favourite Wetherspoons in London but it can get really busy in the evening. We stopped by for breakfast of bacon sandwiches stuffed with bacon and with a coffee. Less than £4 each and from our table we had a great view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge... More

visited wetherspoons many many times all over the country and every thing about them is excellent and consistent but on the last three visits to the Liberty Bounds I have been disappointed with the food by most of it being barely warm

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
