You can't go wrong with weatherspoons, great priced beers and wines, plenty of seating, although always busy, seating upstairs as well, toilets very clean, plenty of staff for serving and clearing tables, the views were amazing, sitting opposite, tower of London and tower bridge, food was ok, plenty of daily deals, what is there not too like, would definitely return

I live only one DLR stop from this Weatherspoon's so it's a fairly obvious option for somewhere to eat. When family have visited we've been to Liberty Bounds two nights in a row, very crowded but I've always been able to eventually find somewhere to sit.

Nice to find a good value Wetherspoon pub opposite Tower Of London. Today it was busy with tourists and locals alike. We didn't eat but ordered a Pimms jug and a cocktail. Both were ok nothing special but both seemed good value and the atmosphere was pleasing. We sat upstairs on a gallery floor...interesting old building with a great view... More

There were only two restaurants we could find in the area of the Tower of London. The first we tried, Hung Drawn and Quartered was very small and no room available. We walked opposite direction and found Liberty Bonds. Also very crowded but was able to squeeze into a corner. We were six people. The food was ok, not much... More

Great pub and a great location. We visit here every time we go to London. Very busy so a wait for a table is common but excellent value in a great location.

Located close to London Bridge, and Tower Hill tube station, The Liberty Bells offers great views of The Tower of London. The pub also has an excellent historic decor and offers a wide range of good value drinks. It's a very good spot for a drink if you're in the area.

A good location to meet up with friends. Found the Wetherspoons very good with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Drinks and service were good at reasonable prices as you would expect. Would visit again.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
