Plum valley offers excellent Chinese food in Central London. Dim sum was excellent. Make sure to try the Jasmine tea spare ribs. You won't be disappointed. Also try the duck and fried rice. Excellent food all round.

For overseas Chinese be pleasantly impressed by the Chinese ribs and fried Bee Hoon (rice vermicelli). The host was pleasantly speaking Mandarin and Cantonese, her insights helped us narrow down the dishes we wanted to try. Every dish was good.

We want to love this place: the food is well made, the space is nice and comfortable but every time we go the service is a detraction. The dim sum is really good, as is the tea selection and the diversity of the menu overall. The lady who seated us was a pleasure. But from the impassive person who took... More

We came here after seeing good reviews online about this restaurant, and we were not disappointed! A great selection on their menu, although it's not very obvious what vegetarian meals they have here, but I chose the four-style vegetables with tofu which was SO good! The tofu was cooked exceptionally! To improve, I think it would be helpful if the... More

It is always hard to choose a late dinner restaurant in China Town. Lots of places to choose from and I didn't have access to any reviews. Plum Valley was a great choice and I really enjoyed the food. Well cooked and good sized portions make this a venue worth a visit. Dark atmospheric dining room works quite well for... More

I had a very nice meal here. The spring rolls and spate ribs were excellent - arguably the best ribs I've tasted. My main meal of shredded breed was superb.

It feels like a slightly posher Dim Sum restaurant, compared to other places in Chinatown. Plush dark exterior, modern window design, dark and moody lighting inside. The staff were friendly and helpful, although annoyingly, they rushed us off our table as they had other people waiting, so despite they having 3 floors of restaurant (which were shut off) and them... Description
Located in the heart of London's bustling Chinatown district, Plum Valley Fine Dining is a sleek Cantonese restaurant that stands out along Gerrard Street for its minimalist style and smart wooden, slate and stone interior. Perfect for business lunches, pre-theatre meals and post-sightseeing snacks, Plum Valley Chinese restaurant is conveniently located near Piccadilly Circus and the West End without being touristy, and the restaurant boasts its own conference facilities well suited for private events and meetings. Dumpling lovers will go gaga for the scallop dumpling, whisker black cod roll, and we also recommend the pillowy cream custard bun, Mongolian fillet steak, and the grilled sea bass with ginger and spring onion. Or just take your waiter's advice and make a survey of the sublime dim sum or the excellent a la carte. Smart enough for dates, yet friendly to groups, Plum Valley is a great must-try restaurant in Chinatown.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
