This is the second time I am reviewing Daylesford with the same commentIi had for the Pimlico Store. Its dirty that all there is to it. Mop the floors, clean the toilets, clean the tables before the custmer sits down, in fact the toilets were disgusting, loo rolls on the floor and the whole area stunk was was unattended. Its... MY friend and I visited here after a truly awful experience at the Farm Girl Cafe. I highly recommend the Daylesford. The food is beautiful and the service is impeccable. The shop and restaurant compliments the brand well and it offers a range of choices. The only pieces of advice I would advise is to get their early for lunch... More

I went for dinner last night with a group of friends. After some great reviews of the place - last nights dinner did not seem to match up. I few of us ordered the breast of chicken which turned up - dry, very rubberly and barely eatable. The waiter said this was due to how the chicken was matured differently.... More

I really wanted to love the cafe, the food is sourced straight from the farm and it's very cute inside. I had takeaway before that was delicious and this was the first time trying the cafe. I thought it was extremely expensive for what you were getting and the service was very slow. The person next to me had to... More

I was so excited to try Daylesford after hearing rave reviews from colleagues. Perhaps their experiences were better because they visited the Marylebone location. I visited the Notting Hill branch and it was extremely disappointing and overpriced. I went to have breakfast and it took ages for my partner and I to be acknowledged. Even in the bakery and grocery... More

I love the Daylesford ethos. The organic, home-grown nature of everything under this roof. The food is expensive but very tasty and beautifully prepared. I often meet people for business here and the one factor that lets it down is the service. It's wine of hose loves where although there seems to be plenty of staff you're always left waiting... This is one of the popular cafe in Notting Hill. You can see people waiting to be seated most of the times. However, take into consideration that they have a flow so you can find a table after a short wait. On my last visit I had scrambled eggs with sourdough bread what came with butter and jam for brunch!... More

After discovering the eatery and shop around a year ago, I have been there few times for lunch and coffees.. Not only the atmosphere is pleasantly refreshing, making you feel more somewhere in the countryside than in the heart of London, but the quality of food both on display and served is superb. Fresh, flavourful and nutritious salads, tasty dishes... More

We choose as often as possible healthy organic cafes. We were however quite disappointed by Daylesford. Prices are just too high for very small dishes. Drinks are opened before they are brought to the table so you can't be sure how long they have been open before. We were assured that they were opened just before bringing them to the... More

I would not recommend going to this restaurant. The portions are really small and disproportionate to the high prices charged - £3.5 for a piece of bread (literally a small roll). Food: good, I surely cannot say that it was bad, but still it was not exceptional, especially if compared to other brunch places tried in Notting Hill. With one... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
