The food is so delicious. We went for a family meal and although the menu doesn't look like it has a lot, the taste is yummy. For a small Pho place in South East London. It's perfect, and much healthier than other stuff. The summer rolls are a must try :)

The menu is limited but what they lack in options they make up in taste and portions. The prices have gone up slightly over the last fews years but that's London overheads for you. The service is hit & miss depending on who serves you. But all in all I've not experienced anything bad of worth mentioning. There is parking... More

Was recommended to this joint. A long queue was in place even it's Saturday night. Ordered pho and shrimp spring roll. The soup base was not impressive and the rice noodle was not as soft as the one I tasted in other cities. Shrimp was very light in flavor. Didn't get the idea why there were so many people queued... Been with my family on a very rainy night. The place was busy but we had a table quickly. The only vegetarian main looked dull on paper but was a delight to eat. The spring rolls were delicious. The starters were refreshing and authentic. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and we wished we had room for their exotic drinks but the... More

For the best Vietnamese in town head over to Surrey Quays. This used to be my local but now i happily trek across London to enjoy the beautiful and hearty Vietnamese cuisine. The place is always busy and most are happy to queue for a table. My favourite dish has to be the the Bahn Coun £6,80 per serving, the... More

First time at Cafe East, so I ordered the beef brisket pho as it's my favourite. The brisket had large chunks of fat on which made it hard for me to chew, to the point where it slivered down the back of my throat and got stuck in my wind pipe so I started choking. I complained to the manager... More

I liked this place so much that I came back 3 times in 2 weeks. Their spicy pho is delicious and the serving size is decent. Their entrees are really tasty too! The only downfall is that this place is a little bit more expensive than you would expect for pho, however I do keep in mind that London is... More

Recently visiting Cafe East with friends and I was delighted to find another very good Vietnamese restaurant in London. I've only sworn to go to Banh Mi Bay but this is equally as good and serves slightly different food. The restaurant is like a Canteen and I've heard many people having to queue for a while but as we got... More

I really love this out of the way Vietnamese restaurant, which serves good, hearty Beef Pho! The restaurant has a simple décor, similar to a school canteen, so its more of a casual quick bite to eat, but not the best place to hang out and chat. I love the Bahn Cuon, which is a steamed pudding pastry and the... More

Fresh, authentic, very tasty. Generous portions. Menu is just the right size: enough choice but not too much leaving the impression that quality and Vietnamese food focus is the priority. Service super quick and attentive. Highly recommended.
