Positives - staff, atmosphere and didn't keep us to the allotted time. Negatives - all of the food was disappointing and nowhere the quality of other equivalent priced afternoon teas. Scones particularly disappointing. Hence not good value.More

Is it acceptable for men to wear collared shirts with denim pants to the Tea Room?

Collared shirt is a must. When I was there I noticed two people with jeans on, I think you'll be fine but would strongly suggest a pair of non denim pants, it is afternoon tea.

I think the shirt might be Ok to wear, so long as it is smartish, but i believe denim jeans are unacceptable. I am told the hotel has a dress code and jeans are not permitted. I think this is fair enough as it is a nice... More
