Very disappointed! Pink chicken!

Very disappointed! Wanted to go for a special meal with family somewhere different but wasn’t impressed at all. When ordering our drinks we requested 1/2 pints however we were served full pints. We ordered 2 pizzas a garlic bread and the chicken burger. Both pizzas...were absolutely dowsed in truffle oil absolutely ruining it. The air con was also so cold that all of the food was cold within 5 minutes and we had to keep our jackets on. The chicken burger was pink in the middle and so we sent it back. We were then given a free bowl of chips but I would rather have my meal than a bowl of chips. The second chicken burger came out and was still pink. Not once did anyone ask if our food was okay. We didn’t touch the second meal after seeing it was pink again and no one came to check it was okay. They also tried to charge us for this at the end. Not one plate other than the garlic bread was finished and that should show that the food wasn’t good. once we had finished eating our plates were in front of us for around 40 mins and no one came to clear them. It was very quiet especially for a Saturday night and no other tables were having food. All the staff were just chatting at the bar including the chef. Very unprofessional and disappointing especially for the price! Overall cost us £80 for 3 x drinks 2 x pizzas and a garlic bread. Very unhappy!More

This is an expensive bar in a doorway at the BOTTOM of the Shard There is NO view, and lots of hidden charges DO NOT BOOK unless you know what you’re going to get!! You will still be charged £15 each, even if you cancel.More

disappointing

Wedding anniversary

Refused entry had booked tjis online in advance but didn't address it until a later date then replied saying we were offered outdoor seating totally not the case won't be booking again and should have looked at previous reviews, the member of staff was rude...just lied saying it was closed.More

Could do better

6 of us decided to pop in, based on the £5 gin promo board outside When we sat down, they said the offer wasn't valid until the evening, so the G & T would be twice the price. Disappointed but ordered drinks anyway. Guiness wss...served up in a prosecco glass (half) and a lager glass. Also, mojito was poor In summary, bar looks nice and service was OK, but overall drinks, glasses and seeming draw scan, was poor. Well, laugable might be another word :-)More

12.5% Descretionary service charge added without notice & £5.07 tip added without consent. A glass of wine and a pint of cider with a face value of £18.50, became a bill of £25.88! Aoid if you don't want to be ripped off!More

Can't even get there and I was charged 60 pounds

I booked online but didn't realise it was on the base of the shard... not really on a proper terrace or with any sort of view. I tried to cancel an hour in advance, but they told me I was going to be charged 15...pounds canceation fee... per person! Theres no proper alert for this when booking and now that I read, it says that cancelations "may incur" in cancelation fees... may, not will... this is a scam and a total abuse. I do not recommend this place at all.More
