A really great find. The waiter was very attentive and went out of his way in every way. The food was very good and for London in my opinion good value.

We ordered the Charcuterie Board and the Fish Platter. Both were very good but I was impressed by the fish platter. The haddock fishcake was terrific. Beware though that this place can be very noisy. The well behaved office people seemed to unleash their restrained...More

Nice venue, once a bookseller's premises. Food was interestingly presented with a few nice twists, staff attentive. Chips - always a good measure of a place - were tasty and crisp.

A great pub near St Paul's Cathedral, the oddly-named Shaws Booksellers combines the understated charm of a trusted local with a thriving City Centre location. Expect freshly-prepared, seasonal pub food, traditional real ale and a relaxing respite from the city. Shaws Booksellers is a gastro pub with character in the heart of London's financial district. Its location makes it handy for those working in the area, or, with its close proximity to St Pauls Catherdral, the Tate Modern, the Millenium Bridge and the Museum of London, a great stop off or evening out for visitors wanting to try some quality British pub food. The pub itself is situated in a converted paper merchant's warehouse with a split level interior giving it a cosy feel. Food is served between 12 pm - 3 pm and 5 pm - 9 pm Monday to Friday and consists of some British classics and some continental European dishes.
