I'm puzzled that this is called a cafe, when Rough Trade is a record store--and I mean, records. Vinyl galore. Plus CDs and music books. If you love pop music, this is your London mecca. On weeknights, bands from around the world play "in-stores" for...More

Lovely place to browse and to enjoy a toastie while marvelling at the cost of vinyl these days. The cafe at the front can be surprisingly quiet during the week. Service and food is excellent, and cheap. The books on sale are worth perusing. Long...More

Always try to pop into Rough Trade when I'm in London. Love browsing the extensive vinyl and always find a few gems to take home with me. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Coffee ain't half bad either.

Have been across to Rough Trade East a view time now. I used to visit the one in the basement of the Skateboard shop in Covent Garden years ago. Nice selection of CDs, vinyl, tapes and t-shirts. I had fun browsing through the dub and...More

Grab a snack at the cafe, browse the records, listen to a few tunes being featured and maybe catch some live music. Rough Trade is a great spot to hang and in a great area.
