Just happened upon this place, another restaurant with a great gluten free menu. Lovely food, nice wine and nice staff. Defo worth a visit if you want hearty gluten free options.

All dishes were very tasty. Spinach soup, Greek salad and spaghetti all above expectation. Highly recommend trying the Turkish red wine.

Great service, courteous staff, excellent food. We were looking for a halal certified restaurant to have lunch after our visit to London Eye. And we just happened to find this restaurant. It serves authentic Lebanese food, and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend this one.

I went to Troia at the reccomendation of our hotel conceirge with my husband and in laws. We had a great dinner - any dish involving lamb is off the charts, and their grilled lamb may be some of the best I've ever eaten. The restaurant is more Turkish than Greek, but the food was wonderful.

Friendly service, found a table for us on a very busy Friday. Food was quite good but not exceptional. Very crowded not much space between tables. I particularly like Mediterranean style food so would go back. Decor is quirky and adds to the atmosphere.

Troia is very conveniently located near Westminster Bridge, in a row with other restaurants. Troia's staff is friendly and sufficient to offer an efficient service - unlike other restaurants in the area you will not have to wait half an hour to get your meals -. The variety of dishes can please everyone. I highly recommend the Turkish / Mediterranean... More

Description
This smart glass-fronted caf, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Yo Sushi! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream?

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
