I greatly enjoyed my meal at Troia, finding it to be both delicious and reasonably priced. Despite being located in a very touristy area, I would hardly describe Troia as a tourist trap. The service was very good, with a friendly staff. For a city...More

We came here on Saturday night because the restaurant is just outside the theatre and we wanted a quick bite. The guy who was pulling customers into the restaurant (probably the manager or owner) was really annoying and treated us like as if we cannot...More

We visited for our wedding anniversary as I wanted some Greek food after getting wed in Greece. The shish kebab was beautiful and my wife had a lovely seafood spaghetti. The food is very reasonably priced considering where it is. The restaurant is also a...More

We found this restaurant behind the facade of the London Eye and it was a comfort to get out of the crowds. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and even managed to engage with our 11 year old son which is a difficult task!...More

Service was very good, waiters taking time to have a laugh with the kids. Food fantastic from start to finish. Definitely the best Turkish restaurant we’ve been to.

Have been here a number of times and I am never disappointed. The menu cards are a little battered and could do with being renewed but the food and service have always been good. Portions are generous and value good.

Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a
thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National
Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the
reasons that Southbank is such a collectively
cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly
activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized
river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo
Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and

This smart glass-fronted cafe, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Westminster Kitchen! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream
