Feel the heat of the Moroccan desert at Cous Cous Darna -- the fire of the people, the warmth of the hues and the passion in the cooking. Fittings and ambiance are imported from Morocco, creating an authentic outpost of North Africa in the heart of South Ken. You’ll be surrounded by ochre walls, Berber pottery and pierced wooden screens while relaxing on chairs upholstered in Berber script. Bring a friend and start the meal with the Kemla salad terre-mer, including a very good aubergine zaalouk, then follow with one of the eight tagines or Darna’s signature couscous with lamb, chicken, and merguez sausages. The wine list has a unique list of Moroccan beers, wines and cocktails to explore. Don’t…
We had an enjoyable dinner. The ambiance was great, very romantic ( we had our 6 yr old with us), it feels like we were not in Earls court but in morocco. The water on the table is not free just incase you thought it...More
Close to Earls Court Tube. Authentic feel to it including the toilets ...except for the music! Good wine list although the wines are not the same year as advertised (by a long way!). Nice menu. Food tasty but a bit fatty. I’ve given it a...More
We went as a family and found we could mix and match the dishes so having a delicious mixture of foods to share. Lovely and interesting food well presented with good service. The decor and crockery were Moroccan and we loved the candlelit toilets. Overall...More
We were a big company that ordered the set menu. Half of the food didn’t come in. The manager was very rude and kept lying during the hole evening. The food was tasteless and very expansive. Not worth it at all.

Stopped by a late night after a fotball game. Best surprise of our London trip.
Ordered some bread and some dips (hummus, baba ganoush etc). Amazing.
Then went outside for some Shisha and moroccan tea. Very good👍
Couscous Darna is a beautifully decorated restaurant in a very central location. A short walk from Earls' Court tube station, with some parking available on the many side roads in the area after 6:30pm.
I visited on a weekday evening and it wasn't too busy....More
Despite the atmosphere was friendly and customer service was great my boyfriend and I did not enjoy our dishes. We could taste far too much butter in the cous cous but vegetables and meat were both good.
I would suggest you to try a cold...More
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
