Ate here early evening prior to going to the theatre. It was my birthday also that day. We had champagne followed by whitebait with tartar sauce, my husband had the calamari, both dishes were well cooked and very nicely served. We than had Pork and Duck with vegetables and red wine. Very tasty food cooked and served well. The waiter... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the extremely attentive and professional staff, the tempting menu, the excellent food and cosy and warm atmosphere. We stumbled in by accident, but will definitely be coming back. We had the early evening three course dinner and found it very good value, but more importantly very good!

Looking for somewhere to grab an early evening meal before visiting the Royal Albert Hall, we stumbled across this place, and we were delighted that we did. An astonishing price for 3 courses (early evening supper menu), and the food and wine were both excellent. We shall no doubt return to sample the full menu another time!

Only discovered this chain a couple of weeks ago when I was taken to the one at St Pauls and had a great meal so decided to visit again, this time in Kensington. Lovely restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff but the best thing is the value for money. Pre theatre menus £12.95 for 3 courses. Food is excellent, good... More

I had breakfast here on Sunday morning at around 10am. It is perfectly placed just off Kensington High Street, but is in a quiet side street. It has a nice outside, heated seating area. Inside is huge and really well laid out.it's is immaculately clean. You could eat your meal in the toilet it is so clean. The breakfast menu... More

Found this restaurant while just walking around in Kensington! A bit tiny restaurant with small tables, but the food and the atmosphere was very nice! I took a three course daily special and it was a lot of good food for nice prize. It was a bit waiting between the plates, but the waiter was very nice and made me... More

Stopped in for breakfast by chance and we're so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a cooked breakfast, coffee and juice for less than ten pounds each, which we thought was quite reasonable compared to other venues in London. They also had gluten free toast. The location isn't too far from a tube stop.... More

Went after a guided walking tour ~ lovely venue just off the High Street. Delicious house white accompanied mushroom starters to be followed by chicken for friend & Hake for me! All served very promptly ~ hot & so nicely presented. We chose from their Special Menu ~ great food & wonderful value. Young lady waiting upon our table was... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
