We've been Birthday Dinner! Staff was really friendly and helpful and always check our table and the waiters so lovely She start to sing Happy Birthday song so definitely had a good choose for the restaurant! Food was massive but my food (Fillet of Sea Bream) is not a big portion! But everything perfect! Thanks!

My son and I had lunch at Bistro 1 in Frith Street yesterday and, as usual, cannot find fault anywhere! The choice of menu is great, prices amazingly low (how do they do it?), quirky décor and good service. Highly recommend

My wife and I came to London to visit my son and his partner. Two of us going to Aladdin and two to the comedy club. This bistro was ideally situated between the two venues. The food was excellent and the service first class even though it was full to capacity with people queuing outside. It was excellent value and... More

Visited previously using a Groupon voucher and as it was so good we decided to repeat using another voucher. This time the service was terrible and i had to go to complain to one of the staff. I must say after that the service was excellent and i was given two free pints of beer. We were offered other free... More

I found this restaurant through Trip Advisor - what a wonderful place. The food was delicious and SO reasonable - 16.90 for three courses. We went before going to the theatre and it really set off the evening. I had melon, then sea bream and smoked salmon over mashed potato followed by creme caramel. The guys who worked there were... Food was good, not 5 stars. But I enjoyed the 3-course meal. Staff are ok, not extra caring, yet they give you a feeling you are in restaurant. clean and interesting decor.

We went there for a Friday night meal and the quality of food we were served left us very disappointed. We didn't have high expectations as prices here are very affordable, but unfortunately, Everything was below average, with some dishes even tasteless and tough to eat. I left most of my main course. It's no secret that when your burger... More

Just had a great three hour lunch at this very warm and welcoming bistro. The £9.95 two course lunch menu offers a wide range of continental starters and main courses. I chose the avocado and smoked salmon salad, and my wife the avocado and prawn salad as starters. They were both beautifully presented, the avocados ripe to perfection and very... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
