This is my fourth visit to this restaurant, once again we had a great meal. The choice on set menu was so good. The staff are very friendly. Overall it is always great value for money. If you want a warm and friendly atmosphere to have a great meal this is a good place for lunch, dinner or pre theatre.

After walking out of an Italian opposite the Lyric theatre, we came across Bistro 1 in Frith Street. A Turkish restaurant. Pound for pound this has to be the best value restaurant in the West End area. 2 Course meal for £9.99 and 3 courses for £13.99. Staff were great and the food just as good. These were lunch time... Visited for a pre-theatre meal with three friends, Very warm welcome when we arrived, when one of the group was delayed we were told it was not a problem. Good variety of dishes on set menu which was great value. We were asked if we minded moving tables to accommodate a larger group and were offered a free prosecco as... More

Came here with my friend during the week. Very welcoming and friendly staff at door. I had chicken sish and it was delicious. Meat was very soft and testy, and my friend had lamb sish and he said also it was delicious. My only concern is mixed meze, it didn't make me crazy. It was very small and not enough... More

We have been using Bistro 1 for various meals every time we take a trip to London. On our trip this time we arrived at the restaurant 15 mins before the lunch menu was about to be served, the waitress who I believe is called Taniya was still happy to serve us from the Breakfast Menu. Smiles all round.

There was a mix up with bookings and so they weren't expecting our group of 36, however, the staff welcomed us with open arms. The staff were friendly and helpful, they even allowed a member of our group to eat their own food, due to them having a severe allergy. The food and service was excellent - I would definately... We visited Bistro 1, as we had heard their extensive menu offered value for money (£16.95 for 3 courses). This proved to be correct. Everything was well cooked and presented in a friendly atmosphere, with those beautiful lanterns above (you have to go there and see them). We would definitely return.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
