Went for lunch with a friend. Staff so friendly and helpful. Only issue was two of the main courses were unavailable so choice was a lot more limited. Would return

booked a table for a pre theatre dinner and needn't have as it was very quiet I must firstly say our waitress was lovely and very attentive, but the food was very disappointing. admittedly we ate from the fixed price menu and the starters were OK, but the main course looked like a badly presented ready meal and didn't taste... Called on a Friday evening, a really warm friendly welcome. We both had the set menu, my wife two courses, myself three. The food was just perfect, & amazing value. The staff who looked after us were a credit to the company. We both look forward to an early return visit

Had a fab afternoon tea here yesterday. It was all delicious and the staff were really courteous and friendly but professional, nothing was too much trouble. Strongly recommend this for a special treat. As afternoon teas go this was definitely a 10 out of 10!

My husband and I ate here on our first night in London. We stayed nearby at Cheval Three Quays. It was an easy walk from the hotel. Dinner was delicious and the service was spot on. Such a wonderful start to our holiday in London! We would dine here again.

This was my first visit to this restaurant in an area where the choices are not numerous. The ambience was good and the food was really excellent for the price. I love Brasserie Blanc as a brand - they specialise in good quality but quick-if-you-need-it lunches or pre-theatre dinners. Always good quality food with a definite French feel and a great well-priced wine list. This particular location (near the Tower of London) never really feels overly-busy so it always a good option.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
