Just stop there before conference and had a quick bit. Not bad for a snack and a coffee. I found it very nice to find a place within the conf. center to stop for a while. Service was kind and prices I felt ok.

Really great restaurant in a central London location. Lovely menu with a wide range of choices including healthy options and starter or main course size. Lovely service; very unobtrusive , perfect for a business meetings. Great value menu; under £100 for 3 x 2 course...More

Over-priced relative to the quality. Dull Menu. Poor Quality food. Poor service with surly waitress. Poor acoustic room. Best part was the wine and building. Generally represented a bad choice of restaurant and waste of money.

I didn't even know this restaurant (which sits within the Institute for Civil Engineers) even existed until I was looking for a convenient meeting place for a business engagement. I was pleasantly surprised by the range on the short but perfectly formed menu. The staff...More

The exterior of this period building was smothered in plastic owing to a major building renovation and the entrance and exit was very difficult to find. The dining area had (probably been relocated) been affected by this work, but that was not made clear on...More

We needed somewhere in the Westminster area for a lunch after a family celebration and knew of this from friends and connection with the Civil Engineers (it's in their building). We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent with enough choice to suit each of us...More

It's a good place to eat. The menu is a bit limited but that's ok because the food was quite nice. The service was good too as staff were all frinedly.

If you are tired and hungry, but don't want to go out, this will do. Menu was pretty limited, but the food was good. Service was friendly but slow. Had to walk out once.

I'm regularly in this part of town for business and visit brasserie one every time I fancy some hot food. The food is high quality for the price especially given its location. Highly recommended.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Description
A contemporary brasserie near St James' Park that you really must try for yourself. The setting is very stylish with the brasserie being housed in the magnificent four-domed Edwardian One Great George Street building This modern, relaxed eaterie really does attract a great cross section of the great and good near Westminster, from tourists to movers and shakers. The menu is a delicious Modern European which changes seasonally and to which are added daily specials. Try to start the marinated queen scallops, with honey, lime, chilli, cucumber and noodles, next the seared beef tournedos with pan-fried foie gras, bone marrow and bordelaise jus. Then to finish don’t go past the chocolate mocha tart with espresso ice cream. Vegetarians are well catered for there's a loyalty scheme to tempt you back again and again.
