It looks nice and cosy inside and outside, sandwiches are very well made and it has a large choice of good beers. I won't suggest you to go there by summer because it's about 7 mt from Thames, and the smell of It, escpecially if you eat outside,is quite nasty. The bathroom it's a real negative point cause I found the... More

The Duke's Head is a fantastic option for guests looking for a great meal and a wonderful view of the Thames - Easy to find and staff has always been very helpful to me and the team I work with when hosting our events! I highly recommend The Duke's Head.

Pub with a lovely view of the river directly from your lunch table, good food and a great terrace area to enjoy drinks next to Thames.

Great place on the River, serves good Young's beer and tasty food. Separate bars in pub area keep the noise down for those dining.

We came here for Sunday roast. Pub is large with loads of tables, big windows and it is tastefully decorated. We ordered pork and vegetarian roast. We asked whether veggie roast also comes with all the trimmings like Yorkshire pudding, gravy, etc and we were assured it does. Unfortunately it was delivered without Yorkshire pudding so we asked for it... More

The pub is in a great location plus the atmosphere along with the decor is good. What lets this place down is the food. I ordered the buffalo burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was small and dry, plus the fries were over-cooked, so not great from a meal costing around £13. I would personally recommend The Duke on... More

Typical, sadly, of a certain kind of riverside "gastro" pub. Right on the river, views over the Thames. o far so good. Goes downhill from there. Big eating area, served by two amateur waiters/resses. Amateur - the usual "eyes averted", ignore unless buying, hard to alert, over-worked. The menu was expensive, for a pub. There's a new tendency to express... More

i attended my nephew's 50th birthday lunch at the Dukes Head along with about 30 others and it was a very happy occasion, good food served by friendly and efficient staff whilst enjoying the view of the River Thames. My nehew was kind enough to pay for all of us so I've no idea about prices there, but I'd certainly... More
