We were fortunate to dine with one of the key staff Steve. With a week in London & on a gorgeous sunny Saturday afternoon this was a highlight of our eating/drinking. We ate pork terrine, rillette, duck hearts, smoked eel, endive, snails. All were of excellent Gallic quality. Possibly designed more as table share plates rather than traditional starter, main,... I have been to this Brasserie for more than forty visits over the past years, and was completely bamboozled by the incredibly inept and inattentive staff at the bar. I came in, no reservation, and was shown to a seat at the bar with one seat on either side empty. I suggested sitting at one or the other to keep... More

Went on the basis of the reviews here and was very disappointed. The positive, very buzzy places, good atmosphere and the service was excellent, fast and friendly. However, I thought the food was too simple and too expensive and cheap ingrediants used. It is an ideal place if you want a snack and some wine and have got 30 minutes.... More

I have eaten here on many occasions pre-theatre and always loved it. So, I decided to have my 40th birthday dinner in the cellar bar - great decision. Dani and the team were amazing and the party/dinner was fantastic. The food was delicious and very generous and the wine was as you would expect - awesome. The Terroir team put... More

Very good Panna cotta. Porchetta with Borlotti beans, excellent jus with Fresh thyme. If more time allowed I would have done more justice to the extensive wine list and unusual cheese choices. Small menu but emphasis on speed (maybe too fast for some but that may be the demands of pre-theatre clientele). The smaller choice probably helps quality. I'd return.

The food here is excellent. The small plates and large plates are all good. I had he mullet with lentals and it was fabulous. On this visit I was on a business lunch and no wine was taken which is a real shame because this is a place to eat and drink and the wine list is excellent. I will... More

The first two times we came here we loved it. The food was delicious and surprising and the wines were as well. The third time, the food was ok but the service was very slow, so much so that we ended up wolfing down our main courses in 3 minutes in order to get to our theatre on time. (... More

Came here after a day out exploring and the bartender asked us what we like to drink. My friend likes sweeter wine and I like dry red wine. He suggested this one wine and we bought the bottle. It has been one of my favorite wines I've ever had. Service was great! Would definitely come back!

My husband had Elwy Valley Lamb Chops, Yellow Beans, Datterino Tomatoes & Pangrattato. The lamb was very poor meat. I took the small plate of Sun Sweet Melon, Feta, Chilli & Sesame - i mean it was just pieces of Cantaloup melon with some leaves on top with Feta cheese in a small plate for £8.50. No imagination whatsoever. Not... More

Great find, tucked away near St Martin's Church in London. Like the Tardis, not only do you have sitting area on the ground floor but also downstairs. The food, I would describe, is classic French. I was so happy seeing on the menu a simple Globe artichoke, served with mustard sauce. Lovely ! Please go and find this little gem.

Terroirs is a well established natural wine bar serving drinks with energy and food with respect. Terroirs is split between two levels. The street-level restaurant has some outdoor seating and a large bar counter that can seat up to 14 people, with a great view of the open kitchen. The Cellar downstairs has very high ceilings and original brick walls, with a separate kitchen and bar area. As well as being a dinning room, it's used for in-house events such as winemaker dinners and movie screenings, and is also available for private hire.
