Terroirs calls itself a wine bar because wine is at the heart of the enterprise. They are proud to source many of their wines from small scale, artisan winemakers. Their objective is to present wines that most sympathetically reflect the place from which they originate,...More

Arranged to meet some pals at Terroirs on a Friday night to celebrate a Birthday and a small intimate group turned in to upwards of 10 of us turning up on their doorstep with empty bellies and thirsty palates (I know, we were the worst...More

My friend and I went here before the theatre nearby. The service was great (we were served by a very helpful and knowledgeable French waitress) and attentive. We decided to share the selection of four cheeses (delicious) and had a glass of wine each (me...More

We tried several small plates and some wines and enjoyed it all. The menu is somewhat limited, but that wasn't an issue. The service was friendly and helpful allowing us to try some unfamiliar wines. I would like to return.

A friend lives nearby and suggested this spot late on a Saturday. We opted for vegetarian items only because we didn’t want heavy food that night. The honeymoon melon flown in from Northern Italy with burrata was one of the best dishes I have had...More

We were really looking forward to returning to Terroirs. However on this occassion were very disappointed. We opted to sit at the counter as we wanted a simple , speedy lunch. We were happy to spend money but not silly money for a quick lunch...More

I’ve only ever visited Soif my local Battersea Rise branch of a little coterie of French wine bars of which Terroirs in William IV Street just behind Charing Cross underground station was the first. It has two rows of tables on its ground floor but...More

The service was good. The food was good, but not overly memorable. The restaurant gets quite loud; not a place for an intimate dinner.

Always a good buzz, and an attempt to bring a genuine French bistro to London. The food is good but there are two problems: The food choice is a bit limited but the main issue is the wines: basically, they suck! They pride themselves on...More

Small piece of cod with no vegetables for £24 - seriously guys!! Waitresses in scruffy looking t-shirts Service was good but the price negated the experience. Just because you’re in London doesn’t mean you can rip people off on cost. Not impressed at all.

You don't. It is a city centre eaterie. Just get the train from the far north. In any case, there is no point in eating there if you plan to drive home. It is essentially a place to drink with food attached.
