The food was average as was the service. We felt a bit rushed to eat and leave. It is hard to recommend the restaurant we only picked it because it was getting late and we wanted a place to eat - it did its job...More

A stone's throw from the British Museum, Konaki always feels like a neighbourhood restaurant tucked away in the backstreets of Bloomsbury. We've always gone early (5.30 ish) and it is always starting to get busy. We opt for the 2 courses for £13.50 which is...More

This was our third visit to Konaki, but the first for dinner. The meal was better than we had had at lunchtimes and the staff were excellent. The pricing of food and drinks is much better than many other Cities in the UK. We did...More

The three course set menu sounded like a good deal so I went with that with a choice of lentil soup, lamb and cake. However, watching what other tables was getting, I feel that I got no more than I paid for with quite small...More

Having visited here on a previous occasion and having a delicious meal, we decided to revisit. Our moussaka was cold when it arrived & even when it was returned to us it was still not particularly hot. The plates the food are served were also...More

Went with my family while visiting London. We love Greek food but were slightly disappointed by our experience here. The food was fine, but not great. Didn't feel very authentic Greek. Staff were attentive even though the restaurant was very busy.

As a young student I worked in the kitchen of this restaurant back in 1990. At that time it was one of the few authentic Greek restaurants in London and had Greek royalty and stars among its clientele. Not so much has changed in all...More

London prices of course but very nice. We had meze which was very good - and overwhelming there was so much! Good service - well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed eating in an independent restaurant rather than a predictable chain...service is very personable and decor is authentically from the 80's! Shared the mixed starters which was very good and then chicken souvlaki was really good followed by baklava. Whilst not extensive wine list...More

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and
leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance

It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated

Despite an understandable popularity with students,

Yes. Meat, fish, salads. You will need to ask the waiting staff about their dips, but hummous and tsatziki, should be fine. Ask for veg crudités, raw. Don't go at a busy time, or you may not get the attention you deserve.
