After a very memorable holiday in Cuba we were delighted to find this restaurant in North London serving cuban cuisine... The food was delicious... and I was so happy to find some banana chips (don't know what they are really called) on one of the dishes as I could not get enough of them in Cuba! However, what we enjoyed... More

We planned on visiting as we were told how good the tapas was. We weren't disappointed. The service was first class and all of the dishes were cooked to perfection. Carlos the owner spoke to us and the pride he demonstrates with his lovely restaurant shines through. Home made products accompany the dishes make them stand out. We were interested... More

Really great evening - obviously I had good company, but the food and the Sunday deal mojitas were great - they've really got it all, quality of food, drinks, service and ambience. For me, although all the above stood out, the quality of the food was amazing - beautiful anchovies, succulent and creamy croquettes, roast veg, crunchy potatoes - would... More

I had not been here in a few years, and the decline was AWFUL. Despite there being only 4 tables full and two members of staff, we had to wait half an hour for someone to take our order. Then the food was unexceptional. The potatoes tasted like they had been around a long time. There was zero service. No... More

I am not normally a huge fan of tapas but the quality of the food was unbelievable. The live Cuban band made the atmosphere awesome and the cocktails were excellent and great value. I would recommend this whole heartedly to anyone.

Went on a Friday night. To my surprise there was excellent flamenco music. Owner was really friendly. Welcomed us from the very beginning. We had Chorizo, pan catalán, charcutería ibérica, sparagus. I am myself spanish and I have been to several tapas places around the world and I can tell without doubt that this was one of the best tapas... More

Pradera offers a twist to your tapas. The tabas are Latin American orientated which adds new flavours to the usual Spanish dishes. The food is really good. I tried several dishes all very good. The highlight of the place I believe is the live Cuban music. The band is quite good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is just superb.... More

We returned to Pradera last night and had a wonderful time. Food outstanding, service and atmosphere first class along with excellent music and dancing. Curry coconut chicken was to die for. A must for dining out. Well Carlos and Ernesto!

First time for us at this fab little local find, buy certainly not the last. Great atmosphere, good music, top notch tapas, but best of all, wonderful friendly and attentive service. Pricing is extremely reasonable, so much so, we volunteered that a carafe of wine had been omitted from our bill. I don't know how we hadn't been here before,... More

Description
Established in 2000 as one of North London's original tapas restaurants, Pradera has long been a popular neighbourhood restaurant offering authentic tapas and paella with flavours as vibrant as the Spanish sun. Under the ownership of Cubacheche (London) Ltd, with a new management team, we've been drawing on our extensive expertise in the restaurant trade, our background in events organisation, management and our Cuban roots to continue the heritage of Pradera with a fresh energy, with an occasional Cuban twist! We've made improvements and additions to the menu whilst still keeping our original Andalusian influence, including a host of dishes from other regions of Spain. We use only prime quality ingredients and authentic recipes and offer you a wide variety of home-cooked flavours to savour. As a special finishing touch we have added a new selection of tropical cocktails to complement our wide selection of wines. Our cosy, friendly and welcoming atmosphere has been enhanced by weekly live performances - Flamenco shows and Cuban music nights - that have been introduced to add an enjoyable cultural dimension to your dining experience. Just sit back and enjoy delicious food in the company of good friends.
