Pleasant atmosphere, would drink here again. Good drinks, not too loud, very pleasant. Well located on a busy road. Everything you need around it.

Headed here for a traditional pub meal with family and was not disappointed. Friendly service, good ales, and tasty fish and chips. Watching the England game from Euro 2016 was a bonus.

My wife and I came here to eat on a Sunday night and when my wife asked the barman who was taking orders if the pies were reheated or fresh he gave us a death stare and said "fresh" and walked away, it was all a little creepy, we walked out ASAP! Plenty of pubs nearby where service with a... More

This is a great pub to visit if you are staying in Earl's Court. Great Fish and Chips and a nice selection of beers.

This is a Taylor-Walker pub and I always like their Ultimate Fish & Chips. However I watched the barmaid serving drinks to men at a table who were obviously known to her, and no money was exchanging hands. Nobody else was being served at their table. It just made me feel uncomfortable as if some sort of deal was being... More

Landed yesterday and needed good food at a reasonable (for London) price....wasn't disappointed. Had the tasting platter that had 2 small pies, 2 slider burgers, 2 pieces of fish, chips, mushy peas, aioli and their own special BBQ sauce. It was really nice. The young Greek barman was very friendly and made my wife and I feel very welcomed......whatever he... More

We ate here a few times during our visit to London. Great standard British pub food, reasonably priced for London food. Huge portions and a good range of local ales and wines. Service was friendly and prompt

We ate here several times while staying in the neighborhood and had a great experience every time. The steak and ale pies are awesome, and we enjoyed their selection of draft beers. The staff was excellent and very friendly. I will be back here the next time I'm in London!

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
