We chose from the Al a Carte menu and were not disappointed. Everything superb, service, attention, food, and wine. Attention to detail in every respect is evident throughout and each dish superb in its own right. Mushrooms to start, if only it were that simple, exquisite. Halibut, and the most bizarre and brilliant Rum Baba to finish. Can you remember... More

In the last few weeks, we have visited three of the four restaurants that hold the Michelin three star accolade. The only exception is The Fat Duck, which does not fit my ideals of gastronomy. All three of the ones we did visit .....Ramsey's on Hospital Road, The Waterside at Bray and here were worthy on different fronts and certainly... More

Well, you certainly don't come here for cheap food - but for luxury and the best meal you may ever have. First of all, this place is beautiful. We had a cozy little table in a back corner, our server was so very attentive and the food was sublime. None of this is surprising since it IS Alain Ducasse.

Business meal, private dining - the tasting menu left everyone full and happy - apart from the poor vegan - extra points for what I'm sure were attempts from the kitchen to wind him up for going off menu. Can't go wrong with the exotic fruit contemporary vacherin and a nice desert wine. Perfect execution, no complaints...

It was a dinner with good friends. The food was superb as was service. A bit old world but that is not a complaint. If I could have changed anything, would have preferred dinner to have taken not as long.

We had a great lunch express here, it's exceptional value, the food is incredible, the service perfect and a lovely setting. We had the three course plus wine, coffee and water for £65 pp. included in this were also amuse bouche, great breads, choux buns and petite fours. Fantastic value. Starters we chose were a veloute with squid and an... More

We dined this evening at Alain Ducasse and have to say it was amazing! The food was spectacular and worthy of those three Michelin stars *** my personal favourites have to be the lobster dish and the tropical desert both were mind blowing! I had the taster menu and my husband opted for the black truffle taster menu with wine... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
