We dined in this delightful restaurant to celebrate our Golden Wedding - our wedding having taken place in the Dorchester Ballroom 50 years ago. The staff were so friendly and helpful and ensured we had a memorable evening The food was delicious. Everything we ate a delight to the palette. Highly recommended.

First impressions were fantastic, I loved the "VIP" section which made the whole room more elegant. However it also made the room a little claustrophobic. On the other hand service was very good, but the food did not match up to the restaurants three michelin star status. Of course it was to a very high standard - but when there... More

Three of us came here for a business lunch on my recommendation after a previous lunch here a couple of years earlier....despite the departure of Jocelyn Herland, the meal was still exceptional & worthy of its three stars....the lunch hour menu here which includes two glasses of wine makes it one of the best value three star meals around!!

Went here for and had there 3 course lunch menu, which included 2 glasses of wine and coffee and water for only 60 quid. The lunch lived up to their reputation, and the wine was absolutely amazing. A great way to have lunch your last day in London. Can't wait to go back

This is the first time we have experienced a three star meal. Ate at one or two star establishments so was interested to see the difference. Nothing spectacularly different from a number of two star restaurants but still very good. Had the seasonal tasting menu which was a treat. Interesting combinations of textures and flavours. Overall an experience worth trying... More

Had an excellent anniversary lunch. £60 set 3 course menu, which included 2 glasses of wine, half a bottle of water & coffee, plus lots of little extra bits I wasn't expecting (cheesy choux puffs, bread, an amuse bouche and macarons and sweets - which we took home). Such good value for the awesome quality of the food. Cured sea... More

This restaurant is just perfect, if you are in London this is a must. For starters we had theiir signature dishes(lobsters) which was just amazing. Duck with foie grass and Crab with maceroni for mains, excellent! I don't need to say anything about the desserts/chocolate wagon, this is the best part!

We celebrated a family birthday with the lunch menu special, and it was astonishing value for money. A seriously classy venue, with charming staff, and a truly delicious meal. Perfect portion sizes, beautifully prepared. And they were absolutely delightful about food intolerances. Special dishes were presented as if they were truly glad to have the chance to meet our needs.

The only three star rating this restaurant deserved on the night we were here for dinner was for poor service and really average food. It has all the pomp and arrogance of a three star restaurant but failed to deliver on any level appropriate to such an establishment. The sommelier was a flighty ill informed lad who darted about with... More

Both cuisine and service are simply superb, as one expects from one of only three 3* restaurants in the country. Only reduced here by one star because the decor and ambience is a little bland. The front of house staff deserve particular mention for their expertise, superlative training and intimate knowledge of every dish. We tested three individually and we're... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
