Went out for an anniversary dinner without kids. Food was great, recommend lamb chops and broccoli samosa. Great ambience, did not feel rushed which is nice when have the rare chance to have a relaxed social dinner without kids. Some dishes are quite expensive though felt portion size was good.

Sadly, we wont be going here again. The place was full and buzzing and the service from the lady in the suit (not the others because they were walking around dazed) was beyond excellent. During our last visit my Lamb was amazing but this time it was carelessly made and the meat was not as good, nor was the gravy... More

I was looking forward to our dinner at Trisha this visit to London (see my previous review from 2015). Unfortunately Trisha's kitchen this Summer was a big disappointment. Gopi the manager left and so the level of this place. The dishes of salmon; chicken; lamb and vegetables were good but none special, worth writing / mentioning about or even spending... More

We opted for the seven course taster menu and everything on it was absolutely delicious but it was far, far too much food. They did warn us of this and tried to sway us towards the 5 course taster... we definitely should've taken their advice. The wine was very lovely, and because it was such a warm evening they said... Third visit after many years. First two were disappointing. But they more than made up for it on the third. The restaurant supports local micro brewers, and has a great selection of beers and as well as wines. Food was excellent - very spicy - but delicious. Staff very friendly, but had to knock of one star for slow (haphazard)... More

Nestled on foodie Blandford Street you'll find the one Michelin starred original restaurant from the team that brought you Gymkhana. The food here is a little more deconstructed and modern, as just as we did at Gymkhana, we ordered the tasting menu. The portions were huge, and by the end we were literally just having a mouthful of each dish.... More

Trishna serves a modern twist on Indian cuisine with interesting and complex tastes. We had the 'small' 5 course tasting menu and we were glad that we didn't go for the bigger 7 course menu as the amounts of food were much more than enough to feed two. Service was kind, professional and attentive. It should also be noted that... More

We were celebrating the birthday of a family member and decided to try a Michelin starred Indian restaurant. We opted for the taster menu. Firstly the food, it was certainly good and you could see the difference between and average indian restaurant and this. But overall, I still felt the presentation of the food and the flavors could do with... More

Two of us dined on a monday night, the restaurant was still bustling even on what I would assume is the quietest day of the week, a great atmosphere. Food was sublime, every dish was humble, avoiding any sense of pretentiousness, yet absolutely delightful (we ate until we felt a little sick, if that is any testament to the food.)... More

This restaurant was recommended by someone has eaten in India with the same chef that has opened the restaurant in London. I was surprised by the average seating that was on offer compared to some high-end London Indian Restaurants. A group of 5 on a business dinner opted for the TASTE OF TRISHNA – KOLIWADA MENU including 100 ML of... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
