Expensive but tasty. Had a nice passion fruit cocktail to start. Great decor in here, really nice restaurant. Plenty of fine tandoor to start followed by a Curried Lamb shank. Not cheap but would recommmend

My party of five visited here on Black Friday lunch time so it was very busy. We had made a booking. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly member of staff who took our coats and all,our shopping bags. This was great as I thought I would have to sit with them. We had the special lunch... I had been a couple of times previously and had rated the food, ambience and service highly. The tandoori lamb chops (£20.00) for two plump, no fat, well marinated beauties were again exceptional for flavour and tenderness. They came with chutneys and hot bread basket (£7.50) which were really good. After that I had ordered king prawns in curry sauce... More

We went there on a Friday evening for a 7 course taste menu. We did not take the wine matching menu but we ordered a bottle of white wine. The food was exceptional and the service was out of this world. The waiters really do an amazing job in servicing their guests. I will dream of this experience and definitely... More

We visited this restautant near Marylebone High Street last night - myself, my son and daughter. All three of us are vegetarian. The food was simply delicious!. All of the dishes -from starters to mains - were unique in their appearance and taste. All beautifully presented too.The aloo chaat was exceptional!

The Hariyali Bream coated in green chilli and the smoked tomato kachumber was incredibly succulent with the right amount of heat. I'd return just to eat this dish alone. Unfortunately, the dal wasn't as flavoursome as I'd expected; however, it had the right amount of heat. Absolutely loved the pumpkin samosas. Friendly and attentive staff; a most welcoming experience overall.

The food is undoubtedly delicious. Portions are small given the high prices, but very tasty. Maybe we were unlucky but the service was very slow and rather charmless. Not everything we ordered actually arrived, which was perhaps down to the head waiter not writing anything down. When you book you are told that there is a two hour maximum time... More

First visit to this Marylebone Restaurant and will definitely be going back. Top quality and superbly flavoured food together with great service and a good atmosphere made it a wonderful lunch.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
