Went today and by far the best food I’ve had in ages. Travelled up from Kent especially and would do again very soon. Can’t recommend it highly enough

The food is excellent. We had the mighty thali which was very good, the only issue is that it didn't have all of our favourite dishes. Wine good value and staff are very helpful.

Should of been in Croatia on holiday. Decided to return to London for a three day break - wanted to eat well and act like we were ‘abroad’ and treat ourselves to whatever we wanted. Fancied spice and flavour and OMG we got more than...this. Went last Friday ate like Queens and had the best chicken EVER in all my 54 yrs. Lamb chops seek kebab onion rings and the black dhal is a GAME CHANGER. I’m on to a recipe to try and recreate it already. Nutella naan was a blur (delirious by this stage) and the service and ambiance great. Food memory banked. A sincere thank you.More

Tried out the new venue in Notting hill which was nice and quiet. Food is lovely and so flavoursome - the lamb chops were the highlight! It would be 5 star if it weren’t for the price - tandoor chop is the kind of place...you expect to pay a little more, but £15 for the tikka chicken which is probably 1/1.5 chicken breasts at best is extortionate in my eyes. I think either lower the cost or make the portion sizes bigger. The lamb chops are much better value at a similar price. Also the “masala fries” at £4 which is a small bowl of chips with some spices on. AND the bottled beer at 5.50 (would be great to have some draft or more drinks options) I also think the prices could possibly be lower at the Notting hill location considering it is just egg break with a paper notice in the window. Maybe there is plans to better this venue but yeah I just felt like a slight rip off. £86 for the amount we had seems too much to me. Other than that the food is really lovely and the service was polite and attentive.More

Finally found a slot to visit with Eat Out To Help Out! The food was fantastic and in particular the seekh kebab roll. It was so good we had to o order another! We also tried the bhaji onion rings they reminded me of the...onion rings at Honest burger with black salt on top. Chops and tandoori chicken were both flavoursome and tender! Recommended. Hazelnut espresso martini was spot on too. Really wanted to try the butter chicken naan but it’s not on the menu anymore 😢More

This was recommended by a friend and we ore booked for a Friday night. The service was very friendly and good. We are the thali and I was extremely disappointed. It says for 2/3 people but there was one piece of tandoori chicken on the...bone, 1 lamb chop on the bone and one kebab on purée all of which were awkward to share. The side dishes were very nice especially the onion rings but I found it very awkward to share the main elements. The beer was lovely but this was definitely not a place I would return to.More

n London for a few days, wanted to try Indian food as my wife doesn't like it and i'm by myself. Walked by the place, and while it wasn't Indian per se, the menu looked intriguing. Tried the Tandoori chicken, tandoori cauliflower (topped with toasted/crispy...chickpeas and a yogurt dressing), as well as the tomato - kalumber salad (mix of greens and onions as well as tomatoes) and the bone marrow nann. The chicken was quite good, the spices weren't as pronounced as other tandoori chicken I've had in Vancouver and Calgary and Toronto, but it was well prepared and tasty - moist white meat (not dry). The cauliflower was excellent and very light being roasted in a tandoori oven and the bone marrow nann was also excellent. I'd come back, not so much as it was authentic Indian cuisine, but it was good food with an Indian interpretation.More

Probably the best place in the area which is currently a bit of a foodie wasteland despite Covent Garden being so near. It's a short menu but I was still spoilt for choice. Food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Nice selection of beer. Staff...were friendly and wore masks which was appreciated. Toilets were nice and clean although a hook on the door would be useful for bags. Ideally I would have preferred cutlery to be presented individually rather than a communal help yourself, as didnt feel it was quite covid compliant.More
