Just a few steps away from Leicester Square station and in Chinatown, Good Friend does Taiwanese fried chicken. This is chicken fried in crispy panko crumb and then seasoned with your choice of spices, including garlic, lemon, cumin, plum and chill and wasabi for those...More

10/10 would recommend the popcorn chicken. It is honestly a different type of experience. You're able to season the chicken further with spices such as wasabi, plum tomato, chilli etc.

This place is a gem for a good quick snack, the food is cooked quickly and is of a high standard. Staff are very friendly and fast, and the flavours of their famous chicken are amazing and are definitely worth a try!

Took my son, who is a chicken connoisseur in his own right, here. I think I’ve found his fried chicken spiritual home. This Taiwanese fried chicken is delicious. We had the chicken breast, which is flattened and breadcrumbed. It was made fresh and was juicy...More

I admit, I’m not a huge fried chicken expert. It’s not something I find myself craving often. However, this place was gaining a low key good reputation and I’ve always heard good things about Taiwanese food, so I was curious. I was there with the...More

Here again since my last visit to London because I so enjoy Chinese street food. Probably not the healthiest food it the word nor the cleanest restaurant, but like a super secret sinful habit. I keep coming back for more crispy tofu.

Honestly there isn't much more to say about this other than the chicken is absolutely fantastic. I've tried both the flattened crispy chicken breast and popcorn chicken. All the chicken seems to be cooked in very small batches so your order is always freshly cooked...More

A great semi-lunch quick stop over spot. Chicken is fried and taste great with the vast choice of toppings. For the type of store it is, it’s great for grabbing something on the go (seating is minimal, only stools at the window).

I ordered the popcorn chicken which is cooked to order so it’s fresh and crunchy. They have a wide range of powdered seasonings applied after cooking as the batter is quite neutral. I had kimchi flavour which was delightfully spicy and cabbagey in flavour. It’s...More

A favourite of mine for late night snack or lunch. Perfectly fried crispy chicken that's not at all greasy. The fried chicken is my favourite. It's not healthy but a wondrously naughty treat! They do lots of variations on fried chicken but also do some...More
