I have been coming to Ciao Bella about 2 or 3 times a month for the past five years. In all that time, I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always friendly and efficient. Simply love Ciao Bella.

We had a quick bite at this restaurant recently. We did not have a booking but our host quickly found a table. It is always a good sign when the restaurant is full and our meal did not disappoint. We started with some olives and cheese. Selected a fine bottle of Italian red wine and I had a rabbit pappardelle... More

This is the third time I've visited this restaurant. The main courses were amazing as were the sardines for starters. However the starters from the specials menu were disappointing. The bruschetta was very dry - basically just mushrooms and goats cheese on dry slightly toasted brown bread, and the garlic prawns consisted of 4 prawns only! Other than this the... More

Love the authentic Italian food served here: I had the Florentine pizza and it was tasty and generous in portion. The Italian waiting staff were nice and unpretentious which made the atmosphere fun and lively too!

So nice to find stewed rabbit in a restaurant in England! We had an excellent meal in this extremely popular establishment. It is pleasant and efficient and definitely the real thing.

A lovely casual atmosphere with some simple yet yet serious Italian food extremely well done in every way. Good portion sizes and a lovely eating experience with piano accompaniment . Good pasta done well and more besides. If I were in the area, I definitely return. Highly recommended.

We ate early as we were going to a show, so the restaurant was fairly quiet when we arrived, but much busier as we left. We shared a garlic bread to start, thank goodness it was huge. The food was delicious, the portions are very generous and the service is very good. Plenty of wines to choose from, from the... More

Arriving without a booking on a busy Saturday evening gave us the chance to stand and watch this well-oiled machine in action. The decor looks like it was done in the '60s and gradually added to ever since. The tables are tiny and cramped, the menu is from when we paid for meals in pounds shillings and pence (only price... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
